Brother Dave, stuff wears out as you well know. But indications don't always point to the obvious. I know it sounds like fuel delivery problem, and new pump didn't fixit, so change the EGR valve. That's Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve. It's part of emissions control and only a couple of small bolts hold it onto the intake manifold with a small vacuum line running to it. A bad EGR will cause the slow pickup speed and won't pull a hill or even a short grade. I believe this EGR change will fix your situation completely. Good day my friend, and happy motoring.

Have someone check the coverter its part of muffler. The oblong thing under car. Could be stopped up.

Use a test light and check if getting power on that hot wire at the connection to motor. Check it back to the fuse panel by holding the down button if window up and vice-versa. Since motor was replaced, You know it's good but no power to it. It's got to be a broken wire or unplugged somewhere. Find that spot with a test light. ALL you can do is test it till you find that broken spot.

Is it getting fuel? Did you try starting fluid? does it have spark? Timing belt ok? Ignition switches are a common failure.

remove intake air filter box and hose that connected to throttle body. then you can remove throttle body for cleaning using carbo cleaner, after cleaning its better to spray brake cleaner or electric cleaner to remove the remaining oily carbo cleaner, especially inside Idle control valve.

Fuel injection. Check that out. Sounds like you get enough gas to turn on then not enough to keep it going. Could be something like water or worse thats diluting your gas. Check out anything you can along the fuel line.

Scan tool computer and move crank or cam sensor, some autos have no adjustments, just base timing. Computer does the rest.

Only thing it could have been in the first place is the wire from the switch to the starter is disconnected from the starter. Even a new switch won't fix that. Just get under the car and plug the wire back onto the spade connector.

Wheel sensor could be bad that tells speeso how fast your going or your having a tranny issue. I had same issue because some ice and snow was on wheel sensor once it melted it was fine I would say try cleaning car at a car wash

idle air control unit is dirty or no good

you bleed the brakes the same as non abs brakes starting with wheel furthest away from brake resavore right rear then left rear then front right then left front , right and left are determined from siting in drivers seat.

there is a small switch on the pillar that the door itself should move to turn off the light. check that for damage and proper function.

DRL = Daytime Running Lights it could be 1 of them is burned out and needs attention, or just that you bumped the on/off switch and turned them on or off.
