Look into the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump relay. Pretty common after changing the fuel pump out.

This could be the fuel pump relay. There is also what they call a fuel sending relay. I believe you would always show empty even though you have gas. Lastly those after market pumps can sometimes be bad right off the shelf! I would check the relay first.

Not too hard at all, even easier if you have it up on a lift. But if I remember right the pan is easy to get to without having to remove anything else. It is a good idea to go ahead and replace the filter while you are there. Make sure you get the rubber seal out of the valve body when you remove the old filter.

Your brakes are probably rusted up. From sitting and not moving the inside of your brake drum has a lip rusted around the brake shoe. If you get an some solid dry pavement lightly rock the car back and forth from drive to reverse. This should free up the wheel. If it does not then you will need to get the wheel and drum off and see what is the problem in there.

Well if it really is showing P1000 its not a problem code.
That code means the car has not been driven enough to allow a full test.
In most cases it has to be driven for at least 50 miles, in stop and go traffic, highway speeds, and at idle. Once it goes thru the entire range of operation the code should clear itself.
The memory is erased when you disconnect the battery or use a scanner to clear codes. The system has to run for a certain time to learn the normal sensor values again.

they are under the dash, but its highly unlikly that both would go bad at the same timeyour promlem is probly in the steering colum

Remove the hub and check the condition of the bearings. If they are not as new replace both bearings and both cups. Grease properly and reassemble If they have a spacer between the bearings tighten the axle nut to specifications and pin If they are 2 taper roller bearings adjust to a no end float no preload position and pin the nut

I had this problem recently. It ended up being the Fuel Pressure Regulator.
It is easy to check. It is in the front of the engine on the fuel rail. Pop off the vacuum line and see if there is gasoline present. If so, this means that the diaphram is bad and the regulator needs replacing. It worked for both my stalling, and hard to start when hot problems.

Most fuses are very difficult to remove by hand from an auto fuse box.

There is usually a plastic fuse puller either clipped to the fuse box cover or on the fuse panel itself (usually the inside fuse panel - if you are trying to pull one from the the fuse panel under the hood and you don't see a puller, look in the fuse box in the interior of you Sable).

If you don't have a fuse puller, try a set of electronics tweezers or standard tweezers. Good luck!

Take the heater hose loose at the thermostat housing(Make SURE to aim it downward AND make sure the T-R-a-nsmission dipstick stays down in place or you might get water in the tube).Take the return from heater hose loose from the water pump. Now stick a pistol-grip nozzle on your home garden hose and hold it tightly into the end which ran into the water pump.Force the water thru and it will blow debris backwards away from the heater radiator inlet channels and out the hose.
To do an even better job,you can funnel a half can of radiator flush into the water pump hose and let it stand for one hour,then flush as before.
I'm not kiddin'about that dipstick,though....don't let it come off its seat.
Then just reattach hoses and add whatever antifreeze you need to.don-ohio (:^)

Needs a radiator cap,evidently. Make sure to test your anti-freeze to assure it's -30 degrees or lower protection.don-ohio (:^)

Wow! Sounds like the drive belt may be slipping or a pulley locking up.
