Is it easy to fix a 95 honda odyssey wing mirror?

If your reason for changing the mirror is simply that the glass is broken then it is easy to change the glass. Remove all the glass and glue from the casing and use a silicon based adhesive on the back of the new glass. Put it into place and using a small block of wood or plastic as a spacer tape around the mirror case and gass. Use electrical tape and stretch it a bit. Put 2 or 3 wraps. Leave it on for 24 hours and then you should be good.
You should also be able to get the procedure done at a local glass repair shop. I had one replaced a few years ago for around $20. It would be more expensive if you wanted the glass for the passenger side that is curved. Hope this helps.

Oil leaking from underneath owner was told

There is a seal on the distributor shaft. It could be leaking from there, although I would think it would be a slow leak. There is really no easy way but to clean off the engine with Gunk, etc and hose it off and clean it up and look for the source of the leak. You can take it in and they make a dye to put in the oil and use a black light, but that will cost you.

How can I switch off

Performing this task will not turn the ABS light off. The ABS control unit and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) manage the entire system via inputs from various sensors and programmed decisions which are stored within the unit. This management system includes the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), pump motor, various electronic solenoids, ABS wheel sensors and an internal self-diagnostic mode. The main function of the ABS control unit is to perform calculations on the signals received from each one of the sensors at the wheels. This will enable it to control the system by actuating solenoid valves that regulate the flow and pressure of the brake fluid to each wheel. The system was designed with a sub-function that gives driving signals to the pump motor as well as signals the self diagnostic mode which is a necessity for backing up the anti-lock braking system.
The module is located and illustrated below. I do not recommend disconnecting and leaving it disconnected for safety reasons as well as other problems that can occur.

1995 oddessy abs light is on

ABS failures are common in the Honda Accord and the Honda Odyssey, especially during the 1995-1997 years. You will find that your ABS light will come on intermittently and then go out. Finally, the light will come on and stay on until the system is replaced. Honda has been charging owners about $1500 to replace the modulator and accumulator. Honda maintains that this is not a problem that is widespread. The Honda owners' notes show that the problem usually happens betwee n 50,000 miles and 100,000 miles. There is a buzzing associated with the system failing, too.--------------
try bleeding the ABS brake pump and check. You must bleed the abs pump, then reset the abs computer by removing the ABSB2 fuse.--------------

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Won't start now but it

Hi, i also suspect it is a ECM problem as suggested by your friend. You have to use the OBD-II scanner to read the ECM for a code which will be interpreted to know the exact problem of the car before proffering a solution.....

The OBD-II connector is required to be within 2 feet (0.61 m) of the steering wheel (unless an exemption is applied for by the manufacturer, in which case it is still somewhere within reach of the driver). It is a 16 pin-plug that is usually located under the dash board near the steering wheel.

  2. sensors are very sensitive
  3. if they are removed and then reinstalled they may not be properly grounded now.
  4. sensors can be damaged if dropped or hit without visible signs of abuse.
  5. scan tool can identify problem and its location.
  6. repairs should only be done by qualified technician as unwanted and dangerous deployment of the airbags is possible

Engine Check Scanner spit out the following codes

Hi,

These all codes are related to misfiring. The most common problem are mis adjusted valves that are out of specification. Most of the Honda shops do have an advanced engine scanner that could easily diagnose this. Some times, it could be an indication of bad coils.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.
