Where should the timing mark be on a 1986 honda

Idles high wont idle down

If you have a carberator, it will need to be adjusted properly, Also check for any vacuum hoses that are cracked or have fallen off.

Barrery light comes on

You need a new alternator. The battery dies when the alternator no longer charges the battery when your car is running. Acts like a mini generator when the car is running....lights radio heat ect....

My 95 Accord 4 cyl burns a lot of oil. Compression

It means that your piston rings are worn out or the compression chamber or sleeve is worn out..4 stroke engine has compression rings and another rings for oil only..So even though you have compression it does not mean that your oil ring is not worn out..

If i match brake i feel bad about my car

This is most likely due to a warped front brake rotors. However also have front end check and make sure there are no bad tie rods also, because they will make this shaking alot worse. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

look in the back on the side of the motor the dip stick should be right there.

ive found that yea the throttle position sensor goes bad alot on honda cars the only way you can fix that is buy replacing the throttle bottie because the semsor is non replace able on most of them

Replace rear brake cyllinders, rear brake pads, tank and left driveshaft

rear brake cylinders are straight foward you shouldn't have any probs withe brakes side of things. the drive shaft bolts on and off with no problems forseen i have done many just take your time and think before you act good luck

No .. the SE and SF grades are obsolete .. The use of 5W verses 10W is that the 5W is lighter viscosity oil

'86 honda accord battery light comes on

Your altinator may be going bad, If you have a multi meter ground it on the alt. caseing and push the hot lead into the red wire on the back side of the alt. , as the car is running, you should get a reading of 14.2 or better if its less, the alt. is bad. But if its 14.2 or better change the battery.

Connector on o2 Sensor

You do need the connector and get the O/E one. You may have to connect the wires for the new one(from the o2 to the connector)
