Engine cuts out when requiring boost
check Fuel pressure regulator by disconnecting the vacuum hose. Didn't say what year you have, yet the timing belt can also cause this as I had similar problems on an 87 and the belts were loose and floppy causing erratic firing/idling. A little easy trick to check timing belts without taking any parts off to get at timing belts, is (and no one knows about this one, hee) with a timing light!

Alarm reset
Use remote to turn off alarm with all doors closed. the other is to have all doors closed and locked, then unlock from drivers door and turn key twice simutanously. Your third is with the ignition switch depending on what type of alarm it has. I.e., factory or aftermarket.

How do i bleed my power steering rack on subaru legacy rs turbo
if its been a week, there should no tbe any air. if its heavy, the rack could be bad, or weak pump????? any noises? air will usually cause a whiney noise, and there will be air whipped, foamy fluid in the pump. A pump pressure regulator could be stuck open, not allowing full pressure? I would have a shop diagnose it, tell them the history and see if they can find a cause.

Sometimes bad temperature readings can be corrected by cleanning ground connections at the battery, chassis ground, engine ground and instrument cluster ground.

Have a car impoted from japan and need to know how
You are going to have to buy a local radio from a junk yard or an after-market radio. The frequency range for broadcast radio is different in Japan than it is in the US (88 Mega Hertz to 108 Megahertz) in the US and 76 to 90 MHz in Japan. There is a device called a frequency range expander and you can find them on ebay sometimes but no assurances how well it will work.
Check out the website

it is how to get a japanese car working in the UK but you will get the idea.

1998 subaru legacy 2.2 engine problems
Yes.The speed sensor in the transmission gives the computer data to control fuel mixture and timing, and it also drives the speedo and odometer. The sensor would need to be tested.
