If this is a car, look at a diagram for the relay panel under the hood. It could be an ignition relay (if so equipped). Other problems lead to a sequential shutdown when a part like a crankshaft position sensor fails or a camshaft position sensor is bad. Try removing the plastic cover over the seat pivot and look for loose lever linkage rod components. You may be able to engage seat locking pawl manually. A pinch hazard exist so be careful where you place your fingers

Likely need a new level in the tank. There is a float in there that may be stuck or corroded to the point that the signal isn't getting g to the gauge. It's also possible the gauge in the dash is bad. I would go with the level sensor in the tank first.

No . With the check engine light on there is probably a DTC diagnostic trouble code stored in the computer . Have code read ,diagnose and repair problem . Suggest you take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop and have if fixed right .
