No heat/99 mercury sable
its not a fuse if the blower motor works , you have a clogged or bad thermastat, bad water pump or your radiator heater core is clogged
Why wont my 1999 sable start?
If you sprayed something into the intake
I would assume you were checking for fuel
So is the fuel pump coming on?
Is the there fuel pressure at the rail on the motor?
You check for OBD Codes?
Look at any scan tool data?
Have injector Pulse or clicking?
Testing one spark plug is not a conclusive test of much
How was that test done?
You checked ALL Vehicle fuse?
Battery any good & was that tested?
Check cylinder leak down or compression at some point
How do I replace freeze plugs
freeze plugs or core plugs in english ,all the same thing though ! find a socket to fit the outside lip and just wack them in ,wack not diddly dally tap tap ,yes i know your supposed to remove the old ones and all that but only if you have the correct access and the time ,if not just wack the new ones in over the top of the old ones you should not have a problems with the old ones laying in the block ,and dont forget the antifreeze minimum 50% even in a frost free climate as its anti corrosion as well as antifreeze

If your engine has overheated then more than likely you have a blown head gasket.
1. have compression checked for each cylinder.
if a cylinder shows low compression 20 lbs less than the others then you have a gasket/head job needing repaired.
2. if there is water in the oil. your engine has a blown head gasket.
aluminum heads will need to be checked at a machine shop for warpped head...and all head bolts will need replaced.
1999 mercury sable gs rack and pinion seal
if the leak is coming out the seal behind the tie rod bellows then replace the steering rack as special tools are required to change this and chances are the housing is worn anyways. if its the seal at the input shaft were the steering column connects to the rack then you can change this seal.
Check engine light code p1400
The code is for differential pressure feedback sensor circuit low voltage detected. The DPFE sensor is used to measure pressure in and out of the EGR valve.The sensor would need to be checked with a volt meter.
