My ecu problems continue unabated. My cherokee jeep1995 will not start. It only cranks and stops for no apparent reason. The problem stated one morning. I tried ecu resetting and it failed to start.

What have you done so far? Does it start then stall or do you have to drive it to make it quit? Has it ever been tuned up including a new fuel filter? What makes you think it's the ecm? If it stays off long enough to test. Do this to check for spark remove a spark plug wire insert a screwdriver into the boot and then hold the metal part of the screwdriver 1/2 inch from a metal part of the engine block then have someone crank the engine while you watch for spark, next check for fuel, remove the plastic cap from the fuel rail test port and then depress the schraeder valve and have someone turn the switch on fuel should spray out. NOTE do these tests in this order to prevent fire. When you know what's missing spark or fuel repost for more info if you don't find it

2001 cherokee laredo cigar lighter and power outlet not working. blown fuses replaced, still not working. power outlet fuse i pdc checked and good. could cigar lighter relay be bad?

No , can't be the relay , by looking at a wiring diagram the power outlet has different supply voltage . Fuse 1 25 amp is for power outlet an cigar lighter use's fuse # 2 25 amp. Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb/ Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on interior & driver amenity, then under subsystem click on cigar lighter . Click the search button , then the blue link. Looking at the diagram you will see they have different fuse's. Something up stream from there is blown . Need to look at electrical distribution diagrams. Go back to system an click on electrical distribution then under subsystem click on power distribution . Click the search button then the blue link. Scroll down to the # 6 diagram . You will see fuse # 4 50 amp location is under hood fuse box . Check that fuse .

Power seats not working Cherokee 2001

Everything is in or under that seats. You can check for a blown fuse first but then you will need to start testing switches, motors and wiring, for proper power, ground and function. A power probe is a great tool but a good test light will work well too.

I have a 2005 jeep Cherokee and my rear wiper doesn't stop. I replaced the Relay plug that did not work. How do i fix it

Is the on/off switch separate from the front knob and mounted on the dash? It may be a faulty on/off switch. I would see about trying to unplug the switch if possible to see if it stops and if so, I would put a switch in it. That would be my first try..... Hope that helps you. Thanks and Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)

There is no power on my injectors for my jeep cherokee sport 2.5 crd 2003

I am pretty sure that the crank sensor is what fires the injectors. Make sure the sensor is good and that it is receiving the signal from the flex plate.

I have a Jeep Cherokee 3.7 limited 2004 model, the central locking system does not work, when I unlock the vehicle the alarm goes of until I switch the vehicle on then it stops.

This isn't much of an answer, more a reminder, did you check the owners manual? It might seem like a long shot, but it is the first place I'd look and I'm a master tech with 44 yrs. It can be something simple like a door is not closed all the way. It just takes a minute to see if there is a suggestion in the manual. Keep smiling.

Tilt steering seems to be loose on 1985 jeep cherokee

I've had a loose steering wheel/column on my Chevy S10 a few times, and each time I had to take off the steering wheel and take out some of the guts to get to the loose bolts, they were still hard to reach and i could really only tighten one really good, if you take pics as you go you won't forget where each thing goes :)
