Wiring faulty, sensor not connected or mismatch, the ECU will not operate normally until it get all required input from the various sensor.

The fuel injectors are leaking at the top where the injectors connect to the fuel rail,or the seals are bad where the injectors go in the engine.

The module is on or around the distributor. A box with one or two sets of wire going to it. Your local parts store can show you the unit or a picture. They should also be able to test it for you.

the wire from the bulb to the ecm needs to be verifed good, a easy way is to find which terminal number the ck engine light is on, and see if that pin provides a ground when the key is on. if it does, the wire may be bad, if no ground, the ecm is bad.

how do the battery cables look ...corroded... or is there juice in the battery sometimes an open circuit such as the trunk or glove box will draw all the juice out of the battery over-night and do i understand you installed a new radio ? please check your all connections and that the terminals to the battery are tight and secure 1st ...

Check the timing belt or check the most common item, the Main Relay. It controls spark and fuel.

how bad do you want this?if you remove the seats,rocker panel kick plates,carpet,door & quarter panel covers you could install padding from a supplier like jc whitney under the carpet and where space allows,adhere to door & fender panels from the inside.pad the back seat from inside the trunk.how about installing a loud stereo?!

Either your clutch is not fully dis-engaging or the transmission synchros are worn. Check the clutch master cylinder for level and check system for any leaks if it is a bit low.

Forget about it with the money you will spend even if it is possible to swap, you could buy a newer car.

check\replace spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter and fuel filter fi you arent totally sure there in good shape since they are maintenance items anyways. any check engine codes?

Get a carb rebuild kit, check all vacum lines and rad cap.  check if there is oil drippin from around your crank case cover, replace gasket if needed. check your downpipe for holes or rust spots.

MAke sure you are on a negative ground.

is there water in oil or oil in coolant?those cars have bad rep for heads and head gaskets blowing....
sounds like head gasket blew, water sucked into cyl.
check spark plug if might have wet contact from water in cyl.

Check throttle position sensor, and IAC motor. Possible the intake is needing to be cleaned also.

no if you have a over head cam you just need to find the timing marks heres a sugestion though next time buy american

It is you ingnitor located inside your distributor cap unit. It will fix the problem.

see if the 4 way (hazard) lights work. if they do then you may have bad turn signal switch or something in that switch, power or ground, is not getting where it needs to go. most manufacturers call that part a multifunction switch because it controls turn signals, headlights, usually some other stuff too. you should make sure you don't have a blown fuse in your turn signal circuit too. not sure i know what the ignition buss is. hope this helps

Easy one.This is a common problem on 88-91 Civics and CRX's.Check your main relay under the drivers side dash.It provides power to the ECU,fuel pump,and injectors.Its a squarish box with a single plug going into it held on by one 10 mm bolt.The solder joints break down over time and cause the condition you're having.You can pry off the plastic cover and resolder the joints if you are handy with a soldering iron,or just ask for a main relay at Autozone,etc.
