Always use full sythetic. Yeah is cost more. But I feel it is worth it. 10/40 will be adequate. With later models I always add a bottle of Lucas oil treatment. Don't forget your filter.

check the linkage on the side of transmisson to see if it lose

Hi Tox The hall sensor on your 1987 Audi 90 is fitted in the distributor body,You can purchase the hall sensor on its own,Or buy a secondhand distributor.

real good chance you've sucked up all the dirt on bottom of tank and plugged fuel filter. I'd change that before going any further.
