This could just be the abs, it does make a sound at times and really is nothing. But you may want to check outer tie rods and ball joints.

That was a sign you need a fuel pump.. What a tech will do is check to make sure you have power and ground at the fuel pump., if you do and you have no fuel pressure then the pump is bad. If you dont then he will have to figure out why the pump is not receiving

Just get in your vech , close all doors. Using your power lock switch , lock all doors. After doors are locked take your Ignition Key and insert it and remove it from ignition switch in a slow fashion , but consitant pace. (97 and earlyer are fast) When you see the hazzard lights flash, put key in ignition switch and turn to the On postion .. Do NOT CRANK or you will have to Start over .. After in the On postion .. Hit the Lock button on remote... Hazzard lights should flash..( note..you have to reprogram all remotes when adding a new one , if you don't your old remotes will not work ) If your doing just the one , turn igntion switch off and unlock door and get out and try it. If you are doing more than one. While still in Vech with Key on . After you hit the Lock button on Remote and hazzard light flashed .. with key still on .. use master lock switch unlock doors and relock and then hit Second Remote, Lights should flash again , repeat if adding a 3rd remote.. after done just turn key off and unlock door and get out and try.

Should be you push down real hard, then pull out on the bottom edge. You may have to work one side loose at a time.

chances are it can be your windows switch gone badd! freind had same problem cheap switch melted inside due to food and drinks intering into the switches if not check your motor on that window it might be bad!

you have to remove the intake manifold to get access and replace it

Most likely the nut that hold the arm at the pivot has come loose, pop the cover off, out the arm back in poisition and tighten the nut down, should be a 13mm nut.

Ok, this is a bad motor and you will have to replace this failed motor. this will fix the issue.

you cant it needs to be done at a shop. some chain auto parts stores may be able to do it for you

Hello there. I have a Volvo V70 that I bought recently and it had the same problem. I left the ignition switched on for about two hours and after that time the reading had changed from OFF to Code. I then entered the code and Hey Presto It worked. When I purchased the car it too had no code. I went to a Volvo Dealership, with proof of ownership of the vehicle i.e. Log Book and proof of ID , I used my Passport, and they gave me the radio code.The only dowside was I had to pay them £10 for this code but I feel it was worth it. I suggest you try this too. Good Luck.

Hello Jim...If the seat controllers for the S40 are like the C70 you can try this...There is a micro switch on the hinge part of the seat
where the seat back and bottom meet. Just inside the hinge point. There is a spring attached to a metal plate.The spring comes off because one of the tabs holding it breaks. A lot of times you can reach under there and roll the metal plate and get the seat to move back.

Try rowing the shifter back and forth about 20 times, with the engine running (brakes on, of course)
The PNP switch can get stuck.
You should have the codes read and see what's stored in the computer.
You can try to clear it with a code reader but it will probably come right back

undo one injector and prime the lift pump till diesal comes out by hand if this dont work undo injector turn car over till diesal comes out and car starts do up injector other than that it may well start off a tow

Two possible issues. the motor itself may be dead or, the wire connections may be lose or disconnected.
