HOW DO I REMOVE THE IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER IN A 1998 ACURA RL
You have to replace the assembly if you can't pull the end of the key out. That is done by removing the steering column shroud and chisseling or drilling off the captive bolts which clasp the lock assembly to the column. Then refit the new assembly and tighten and snap off the new captive bolt heads.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER IN A 1998 ACURA RL
I could be wrong but I am pretty sure there are a few (3, I think) screws on the bottom side of the steering column. You remove those screws and take the plastic off from around the steering column, top and bottom. There are two 8 mm bolts on the top of the column holding down the ignition switch. The cylinder is on the bottom side of the column and should now come off.

Trunk won't stay closed
if its not getting power it should close no problem, the trunk releases when power is supplied by the remote release switch, check for the latch if its stuck open, you could have a broken spring or something causing it to stick open
