The code is P0505. What does this mean?

I believe that indicates a problem with the idle air controller. EIther it is faulty, there is a bad electrical connection, or a short - possibly moisture induced. FIrst step would be to locate the IAC electrical connection and unplug and replug. MB

Honda Odyssey 2003 cruise control will not come

is the check engine light on, key on, and out driving?if not the newer honda;s cut CRUISE, for many failures.they dont want to be like Toyota, and car drives it self, LOL.no kidding.!!!so today cruise is LAST. to work.if the ECU is in limphome , cruise is cut.so connect a scan tool and scan for DTCs.i cant guess country , nobody ever post this. but up in canadathe the PCM is differernt and the CEL may not glow for some very bad errors, (misfire is one) so scan it, and win.if no DTC then its a real cruise failure.
