Probably if from an auto parts house and they said it was compatible. Why did you switch it out? What was wrong with the factory rail?

Could have a blown or missing fuse or a bad fuel pump relay.

I just sent you info and they do show the 2 hoses to go after at AZ site

yes and im sorry to tell you that !! its a lot of work , I found a full break down at auto zone library its all free and no spam you can find it under chassie electrical

I don't know for sure on yours , you should go to a Cadillac dealer an talk to there parts guy . I worked at a Chevy Dealership an then a Cadillac , Pontiac , GMC dealership . There were shims used on some GM products that keep the nose away from the flywheel or flex plate so this didn't happen !

Replace or rebuild the transmission. Having it diagnosed first my save you time and money. Could be a bad wire, bad valve body. These are way cheaper than a rebuild

just along the driver's side is where the fuel line runs and is bolted onto the car on the undercarriage

sounds like it may be seized with rust _ try some penetrating oil on it first

If there is a tab. It will be just one. Those are a pain to get apart anyway. Sometimes they get hot and melt together. Look at the wires close to the plug. If they look a little melted tear the relay apart. Try to save the plug.

check the PCV valve. It sounds like its stuck open.

look under drivers side lower outside corner it will be a black plug with a flat tee you may have to search for it its well hidden but its there turn counter clock wise to open some might stick so you might need a pair of vice grips to turn it and pull back on it.make sure motor is cool ,cuz it just comes splashing out. I know you didn't ask but if you have a northstar motor take any heating problems VERY seriously I owned 2 and a lot of overheating problems and 1 head gasket later sold them both.

It should move freely with the transmission in neutral and parking brake released. The parking brake may be stuck engaged - it should release if you put the transmission in drive first (manually check that the parking brake pedal has released).

first check to see if the blend door motor is working if it is then the temp module may be the culprit , also check the heater hoses to see if they are hot on both side the inlet and the outlet you can do this by feeling them . let the car heat up to operating temperature then feel both hoses if one is cold and the other on is hot this indicates a flow problem , if this is the problem check the temperature of the engine , if the engine does not reach operating temp then replace the thermostat and then recheck engine temp , check the flow of the heater core , you can do this by pulling the hoses off and use a garden hose to push water through the heater core " do not turn the hose on high "

No, the oil level sensor may be going bad, or have a loose connection. Check your oil level, and look beneath the car where you park for oil spots - if there are spots you have a leak. Some oil in older cars will get past the oil ring in the cylinders and be burnt in the cylinder - but usually you will see blue smoke coming out the exaust if that's happening.

You will need to buy new head bolts and I would recommend getting a repair manual , the torque is done in degrees . First step all 11 m bolts torque to 22foot pounds then 60 degrees go back to the first bolt then torque another 60 degrees and last do this one more time that will give you a total of 180 , The 6m bolts is 106 inch pounds , you do really need a repair manual because their are certen steps out lined that need to be followed . Good luck take care because you are tightening these bolts into and aluminum block and they are known to pull threads when pulling out the old bolts , you will know if this has happened because you will see the materiel in the bolt threads
