Let me guess. Some mechanic told you to do this to your Legend? :-) Do not do this (if it's even possible) The simplest thing you need to do for the Acura Legend is to bleed the coolant system to get rid of the trapped air.

there will be a small screw on the underside holding your mirror in place. remove the screw. and the mirror will slide up and off

check all fuses first. what transmission>? jumper cable starts, use them to start car. this tells you more in 1 step than anything, if jumper to other running car ,starts your car, that means your battery is bad, or weak or discharged. if jumper cables starts fail check out the tricks here. http://www.fixkick.com/nocrank.html#tricks

The brake light switch (which also controls the cruise control) was not adjusted correctly. Also the stop pad may need to be replaced and the part is available or a penny can be taped or glued in place for a temporary fix.

get a radiator flush

Most alarm systems are equipped with a starter kill relay that disables the starter. Unless the alarm is installed wrong, it shouldn't effect the fuel system at all including the fuel pump.

check the power stearing line.they usually leek before a rack will.there manny fitings on this system. it could also be a rubber washer on the fiting.

thats your main radiator fan, meaning if it don't come on then vehicle will get hot. check the fan for operation by letting the vehicle idle for a while, keep check the temp gauge and what for the fan to come on at the half way point.

Check Engine light dont have one specific fuse, they received data information directly from the ECM (Engine Control Module).

check engine light only comes on at first start and when sensors fail.. All lights in cluster run off same fuse

The security code should be in your owners manual. If you do not have the original owners manual, Take radio out & write the model and/or serial # listed on it & call up any Acura dealership & they will give you the security code for that specific radio. Go buy a Chilton manual at Autozone, Advance Autos, or O'rielly's for the directions on how to remove & install the radio.

I am not totally sure, however I just put a thermostat in an acura, and it was under the passenger timing belt cover. Hope this helps.

With any leak it should be fixed as soon as possible as far as cost, that will depend on teh shop you take it to and which method they use to replace it. They typically have 2 options, pull the transmission and replace it from the outside or pull the motor and replace the seal. Typically a Transmission shop will charge you about $600 to $800 to remove and install a Transmission plus the cost of the part and the labor to install the new seal.

Hi, there is a bolt above the idler pulley to adjust. First loosen slightly the center nut on the face of the idler pulley. Then tighten the adjusting bolt to proper tightness on the belt. Finally, retighten the center nut on the face of the idler pulley.
