Yes, 86K is unexpectedly soon for a valve job. 200K is more likely. You've replaced the usual suspects, so its time to look further. Valve (or head gasket) problems can be identified with a dry and wet compression test AND a leakdown test. You really don't want to pay for a valve job (i.e both heads, gaskets and timing belt while you're there...) if its not needed. Other things to look for are vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks (odd effects can with these). Watch the coolant level: if its going down, its either leaking or burning == head gasket on the way out. Burnign coolant also creates while smoke. If the gas economy is way off, the catalytic converter could be damaged (unburned gas in the exhaust wrecks the cat).
What is diference of clip and rivet for flare replacement
a rivet is a permanent fix as in a pop rivet and is not easily removed once fitted
a clip can be a metal "u" piece that goes over the edge of the guard and a screw then is ******* into it through a drilled hole in the guard
( like a nut held in place)
or it can be a plastic fastener that fits in a predrilled hole and then holds the flare in place by another section that pushes into the plastic and expands that section to hold it all together
I suggest that you go to a panel repair shop and talk with them to see the differences and the best way of fixing the flares as they have to work with that idea all the time
How do I adjust the side view mirrors?
if it is not adjustable electrically from the dash, use your fingers on the inside or outside ,top or bottom or the mirror glass and gently re-position the glass position to suit your sitting position
