You have worn wire/s. They are inaccessible unless you remove the cross member and drop the transmission as far as it will go down. Then it is still difficult to repair the wire/s. I would place someone in the car and get a smoke machine and trace the potential areas for your leak. Always go to the highest point. Also check your A/C drain hose, if they are get plugged the moisture will show up in the floor board of the vehicle. There is also a UV smoke that can be seen better with a black light for those hard to find leaks.

i guess, you meant , engine issues, engine cranks ok , starts then stalls right? that is cause (most times) by the ASD relay dropping out. is it? dropping just before the stall? if yes, the scan tool will tell you why, there are 8 reasons... all documented in all jeep 93+ FSM books. does car have Immobilizer option? if yes, that too will drop the ASD so (bad boys) cant steal it. so if the immo light (generic name) is on or flashes before cranking or during cranking, then the IMMO is UNHAPPY. again scan it. if yes, IMMO did you try both key fobs, as came with new car? http://www.fixkick.com/Jeeps/ASD.html if the ASD does not drop. the that can be 50 reasons... a huge list. major engine parts. never had a REAL tuneup in a decade? (spark bad) lost spark bad engine. bad fueling (too much flooding or too weak or none) if engine floods?, crank with wide open throttle per operators guide.

Follow the plug leads from the engine they will lead you to the coil pack. Some packs run all the plugs and some are individual which means you will find a coil on top of each spark plug. Regards Jim...
