Throtle gets stuck wide open i did tps worked for a day always pump to start runs ruff then goes bamm gets stuck wide open help me

You should not need to pump the throttle. That does not have any effect on starting the engine on a fuel injected car. How do you un-stick the throttle ?

What could cause overheating and blowing steam out the defroster and shutting off?

Most likely a cracked heater core. Check your anti-freeze see if it is low. Check passenger side for wet mat. Both signs of a heater core problem.

Wont start without being jumped but will die soon after

The problem may be a bad alternator. When the battery is completely dead jump starting the car will charge the battery enough to run the car for short periods. Take the alternator to the auto parts store and have it tested (usually for free).

Rear brake lights and turn signals not working. All bulbs light up when running lights turned on?

I do believe you have individual fuses for the light assembly on your car. I know newer ones do. You might want to check them first. You have a panel under the hood and one under the back seat. Both will be marked under the cover.

I have a 1999 cadi deville, the abs and traction

A few things could be wrong....it could be your brake control module, anti-lock brake system or a wheel speed sensor. The best thing to do is to get it into a garage and have them take a look at it and give you an idea of what is wrong. Either way, if you do not have the proper tools, you are better off taking it to the shop.

I hope this helps.

How disable Twilight on 99 Cadillac Deville

  • Examine the left dash panel to find the headlight switch. This is the control you use to turn the headlights on or off, with the exception of the daytime-running lights.
  • Look directly beneath the headlight switch. You'll see a small lever. This is called the "Twilight Sentinel." Move the lever all the way to the left to the "Off" position.
  • Turn the headlight switch to the "Parking Lights" mode. This icon has a symbol of two small bulbs. The daytime-running lights are now turned off.

Front passenger floor wet from rain, where is leak at?

Do you have a sunroof or moonroof? If so the problem is going to be in the drain for that sunroof or moonroof. If you open the roof, on either front corner you will see a small circular hole. Take some compressed air and blow it through each of those holes. You may see debris come out of the bottom near the back of your wheel well. Take cup of water and slowly pour that near those holes and make sure it goes through. Usually when that drain is clogged the water from a rain storm will flood into the passenger cabin.
