I would try to move the battery enough to replace the bulb as when you disconnect the battery the car will have to relearn drive patterns for best gas mileage shifting of transmission, and other things that the computer controls.you also may have to enter a code to get your radio to work again if you don`t have your code written in the owners manual you will have to go to the dealer to have the radio programed

do you have another key does the key you are trying when it locks up are you able to pull it out is your anti lock security system off if theres no damage to key then your ignition may be going bad next time you put the key in will it turn backwards then forwards try another key if you have it if its your ignition i can tell you how to change it just write me back and tell me
