Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. This will reset the computer. If the problem happens when you hook the battery back up then something is causing the security system to fault. Weather it is the security computer or a faulty switch. It is very hard to determine without disconnecting and troubleshooting switches etc. But hopefully disconnecting the battery will get you going again.
The VSC light.VSC stands for "Vehicle Stability Control".disconnect the negative battery terminal for few minutes then reconnect it again then check out if the VSC light is still coming On.------------But if this does not help you to solve the problem then this "VSC light On" problem is related to loose vacuum hose.Properly check the air filter the vacuum hose thats behind the air box ,if this vacuum hose is loose then you will get the VSC light.--------------Also check the gas cap,if the gas cap gets loose then this can cause the problem.-----------but if all this possibilities checked ok and still the VSc light stays on,then this problem has to be checked by retrieving codes at diagnosis center. You can get your car scanned at www.autozone.com.Its absolutely free to get car scanned at auto zone service center.Once the error codes are retrieved the exact faulty part can be replaced as per the codes.---------------]Keep updated for any more queries.Thanks.
Remove drain plug from oil pan. This is the lowest part of the engine. Looks like a pan. There is a drain screw. Remove the screw and let all the oil drips out unitl it completely stops dripping. Then put the plug back in.
Then grab the oil filter. Usually orange, whilte, blue, or black. Turn it counter-clockwise until it comes off. Once it is off, let it completely drain. Put the new filter on.
Put in 5 quarts of oil. Let it sit for 5 minutes and check it. See if oil needs to be added. 5 or 5 1/2 quarts. Owners manual will tell you how much for your car. 5 - 5 1/2 quarts is most common.
Now drive away!
i believe it is 25 feet from a level line on the wall, then on the sides of the lights there are screws with springs, these will move the beam of light. I may be wrong on the distance but for some reason 25 feet is what I remember. Hope this helps tim
most likely when some one replaced the windshield they did not put the self sealing riviets in that hold the trim on. remove the cover on the side of the windshield and look. if that is not it check the moon roof drain tube runs in the a pillar
The starter for this car is located in whats called the valley of the engine. which is below the intake manifold. in order to get to starter u have to remove the intake manifold.
Parts needed: Starter intake manifold gasket (DO NOT REUSE OLD GASKET)

It is definitely a cam problem. Was your replacement cam sensor OEM Japanese Denso, Made in China or Made in Mexico? Never go cheap on sensors.
DTC P0348 stands for Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit High Bank 2. This code triggers when the signal coming from the CMP sensor located in bank #1 is either missing or inconsistent. The CMP sensor measures the speed and position of the engine's camshaft.

If you can't find the audio amplifier under the seat as mentioned in the manual, there are a few other places you might want to check:
Trunk area: Some Lexus LX470 models have the audio amplifier located in the trunk area, often mounted on the side panels or near the rear speakers.
Behind the dashboard: In some vehicles, especially those with more complex audio systems, the amplifier may be located behind the dashboard or near the head unit. You may need to remove some panels to access it.
Under the center console: Occasionally, car manufacturers install amplifiers under the center console or beneath other interior panels. This location keeps the amplifier hidden and can save space in the trunk or under the seats.
Behind the glove compartment: Sometimes, especially in luxury vehicles like Lexus, the amplifier may be tucked away behind the glove compartment. Removing the glove compartment may give you access to the amplifier.
If you still can't locate the amplifier after checking these areas, you may need to consult with a professional car audio technician or refer to specific technical documentation for your vehicle model. They may have insights or access to resources that can help you pinpoint the exact location of the amplifier.
Certainly! Here's a question inspired by your inquiry:
"I'm a proud owner of a 1998 Lexus LX470 with the Lexus Premium Sound System, Matsushita Model No 8620-60320, Reference No CQ-LT4730A. Does anyone have information on the pin-out and schematic for this particular sound system? I'm looking to understand the wiring better and would greatly appreciate any insights or resources on this topic. Thank you!"
I have read this 6 times and still not sure what the issue is? I have a 2005 ES330. To open all the doors with the key fob, you have to double press the Unlock Button. Pressing the Unlock button once, only opens the driver door.
The door lock module and further help is in the link.

Yes, it is possible for the ECU to be bad even if it is still providing codes to the OBD2 scanner. The ECU is a complex electronic device and it is possible for one or more of its internal components to fail without affecting its ability to communicate with the OBD2 scanner.
In your case, the fact that the codes went away after replacing the #35 fuse and the IAC motor suggests that those were the underlying problems causing the "crank but no start" condition. However, the fact that the car still won't start after those repairs indicates that there is another problem, and it is possible that the ECU is at fault.
To be sure, you would need to take the car to a qualified mechanic and have them perform a more thorough diagnosis. The mechanic may be able to test the ECU to see if it is functioning properly. If the ECU is found to be bad, it will need to be replaced.
Here are some other possible causes of the "crank but no start" condition in your Lexus IS300:
Faulty fuel pump
Faulty spark plugs
Faulty ignition coil
Faulty camshaft or crankshaft sensor
Low compression in one or more cylinders
Clogged fuel filter
Restriction in the air intake system
If the mechanic is unable to find any other problems, then the ECU may indeed be the culprit. However, it is important to rule out all other possibilities before replacing the ECU, as it can be a costly repair.
The Check Engine Light is on? Did you read the DTCs.
The second link has the answer, the first link says it is a known issue. It is times like this you need the Dealership or a good auto electrician.
does it start with 5%(a tad) right foot throttle pressed?
is the IP cluster, IMMO lamp happy? (immobilizer)?????
check all fused first? NOT RELAYS.
check spark first if engine itself tests good.
the classic way for 100 years a test spark plug used.
if spark is good then spray test fuel works.? FOR 3seconds
if that works, then fueling is bad. (no start)
the knock sensor does not kill spark. (it fine tunes spark timing only and only if the engine pings going fast.
then scan the pCM OBD2 port for DTC errors.
check fuel pressure, at the rail.
ok dead fuel pressure.
fuel pump relay is called on this car
AS EFI MAIN relay
HORN RELAY SAME (SWAPS)
if the PCM detects spark bad it cuts fuel dead.
to prevent crash and burn as see on TV..
the crash sensor also trips the pump off line.

FUEL PUMP SHUT OFF SYSTEM
The fuel pump shut off system stops supplying fuel to the
engine to minimize the risk of fuel leakage when the engine
stalls or an airbag inflates upon collision. To restart the engine
after the fuel pump shut off system activates, turn the ignition
switch to "ACC" or "LOCK" once and start it.
