Brakes are terrible.
Sounds like two issue. The ABS unit might need replacement (known issue for ABS lights on) and the brakes need to be quality parts (ATE, Brembo, Girling, etc.) , not discount auto or pep boy type brakes. Those don't stop well. If the pedal travel is excessive, bleed the brake system first. If its still excessive, its most likely the master cylinder, not the booster (booster will make the pedal hard).

How to adjust handbrake cable on audi a6
Hi Shane, Look down at the side of the lever and you should see the adjustment cable ends. There is a lock nut which must be loosened first and then carry out your adjustment. There is also an adjustment inside the disc drum assembly. To get to that one, you'll need to remove the rear wheels and the caliper. Before jacking the vehicle make sure to jack the front wheels so that the vehicle can't roll. Remember to release the park brake after loosening the wheel nuts. When lifting off the calipers use something to tie them up suspended so that the flexible brake pipe is not under tension. Pull off the disc drum and at the top of the assembly there is an adjuster. Carry out the required adjustment and reassemble. keep in mind that if the brake pads get in the way when assembling, push them back so that the piston retracts into the cylinder. Once you've completed the work get into the car and pump the brake pedal until it feels normal. Happy driving. regards John

Central locking not working on key.
Before you spend bigger amount, check the battery in the key. Usually a CR2032 battery can be find there. (Open the Keyfob by inserting an object into the key ring holder and pulling the top and bottom apart, Seperate the two halfs, Open the top half to expose the battery... )
