2000 Acura Integra - Page 2 Questions & Answers
I have a 2000 Acura
A few things you may want to try;
1. Clean the cables on the battery, even if they don't appear to have much corrision it doesn't take much to prevent the alternator from charging the battery at it's peak level. When you're finished try to start the engine.
2. If it still will not start, try to find someone to give you a jump. Even if it's cranking it may not be providing the minimum speed needed to allow the engine to start. Having atleast the Minimum, " Cold cranking amps ", required by your vehicle is crucial, especially in cold/cooler weather.
If the vehicle starts with a jump you likely have an issue with your battery. Many parts stores will hook up a diagnostic machine to check your battery, alternator, and some will also check the starter for FREE.
I hope this helps you get your car going.
Opel Corsa timing belt replacement
You need to find the timing marks on both crank and cam pulleys, set it, then take of the belt ane dont let any pulley move! Put on new belt and set the tension of the belt.
I have a 2000 Integra
Could be your ignition switch. It's mounted inside the steering column cover on the key tumbler. Usually a white switch secured with 2 screws. There are so many contact points in there that can fail and cause you to be able to turn your radio on and move your windows long after your car has been shut off. I did this fix a couple of weeks ago on an Accord. All is good now.
Where is starter on a 2000 acura, some times it
It's mounted on the transaxle (Transmission). Before you
assume it's the starter have your battery and its connections
checked out. Could also be a bad ignition switch. Had a
bad starter on my 05 accord, but along with intermittent
starting problems it also made an unusual noise. The dealer
will be pricey if it needs replacement so hope you know a
good service station.
It took 4 times to
Do you mean by four times ignition on and off? A bad
starter, on the way out, will cause intermittent starting
problems and odd noise. If your crank is strong when it
does start you can more than likely rule out the battery.
Acura will be pricey, so hope you have a good service
station. I would still have someone like Autozone check
the battery and it's connections before assuming it's the
starter.
2000 integgra LS - 100K
Had the same problem with my 05 Accord, and it was
the starter. But before you take it in for repairs, have
some parts house like Autozone check your battery
and the cable connections to the battery posts. Of
course, when it does crank and its strong, it's most
likely the starter. Acura will be a bit pricey so hope
you have a good mechanic.
How do i install
I,m not sure you have one. Check with your Acura dealer
parts dept. to verify. If there is one it's usually behind the
glove box.

Car battry light stay on
Hello
When the Battery light stays on it means that the engines Alternator or wiring to it are defective and the battery is not being charged correctly. To have the Alternator tested for free along with a battery test go to any Autozone or Kragen auto parts store.

Acura 2000 radio unlock code
You have to do this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!
