Hi there, yes they do have a cabin filter, it located under the bonnet on the passenger side. You will need to remove the cowling on the left side, then just loosen the 3 boots holding the washer tank but don't remove them, you can then pull it forward a it and expose the housing for the filter, push the clips out of the housing and pull it strate up, then remove the old filter and replace it with the new 1. Note on the bottom of the housing you pulled up has 2 tabs on it, make sure they are located and just reverse your process and put it back together, hope this helps

If the valve cover is leaking oil onto the spark plugs and wires, then yes, replace the gaskets. Otherwise you have other ignition issues.

If a volatile starting fluid, typically ether, won't make it fire or even sound like it is trying to fire the problem is likely to be with the spark though if attempting to start continuously for some time hasn't caused the smell of petrol about the place and caused the spark plugs to show signs of wetness there probably isn't any injection taking place either. In the absence of both spark and injection it could be an immobiliser problem or it could be one or both of the positional sensors (crankshaft or camshaft) or the connections or wiring or the ECU that has failed. A code read might help. I suggest spending some time checking the fuses first and then carry out a thorough visual inspection of all the associated pipes, wires and cables before moving on to a more in depth diagnosis. Check oil again and all fluids. Take top where oil fill is and when engine I'd running should feel pressure and or little oil slashes.

some times this happens if the are not torqued to the right tension.

I'm guessing you have a timing problem. Have that checked first.

Yes a turbo with faulty oil seal can and will use oil and smoke, and yes the valve stems will have rubber covers but usually only blows smoke each time you start the engine, but will then disapate after running or normal driving
