The heater in my 93 plymouth voyager is working
Hi There.
The heater FAN may be working fine but if the water is not circulating or not being allowed to circulate the it is only going to blow cold.. check thermostat and heater matrix. it could be something as simple as an air lock in the matrix system and just needs flushing out.
How do you adjust the
There is no idle adjustment, it is controlled electronically by a computer and that in turn controls a part that is called the ISC short for "Idle Speed Control" motor. If the idle is low or you have stalling problems then the system may be full of sludge from the years of service. Clean the ISC and the engines Throttle valve as outlined below, it should correct the problem.
To correct this problem get a can of throttle valve cleaner (it is made by CRC Chemicals) from the local auto parts store, spray it into the air intake of the engine until you have used about half the can, you will need to hold the idle up while you do this, it will try to stall, after this shut the engine down and disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable for 5 minutes. The intake is now clean, if you continue to have the idle speed control problems you may need to seek the help of a professional.

Hi. How many fuel
That is wrong, this van uses one fuel filter and its not over the tank rather near the tank bolted to the frame on the driverside, the newwer vans have the filter over the tank and they use only one also and then the newest vans have a lifetime filter inside the tank that should last the life of the fuelpump, heres a picture of your fuel filter for your 1993 voyager, good day.
My 1993 Plymouth Voyager driver
if you can find the remaining part you can go to the auto parts store to see if they have the part that matches,or a body shop or the dealer,if you can`t find the old part.even a wrecking yard may be able to help with the part.
What do i need
The most common and safest plug gap is 32-34 thousands on a feeler gauge. If you gap the plugs too wide, this will be hard on the ignition system. I hope this helps.
Changed fuel pump pump on a 93 grand voyoger se
two possibilities are the throttle position sensor is bad/disconnected or the fuel pump is not hooked up properly i.e. the o-ring for the pump is not sealing at the tank. Check your fuel pressure at the rail on top of the engine with a gauge set you can borrow for free at Advance Auto, Pep Boys, Auto Zone or other commercial auto supply stores.
On my 93 Voyager ,
Sometimes the shoes are adjusted out far and will prevent the drum from coming off. You may need to turn the adjuster some to let of the tension. if you look at the picture below, it has a picture of how the adjuster works. It has a "star" like gear that you can get to with an adjusting tool or sometimes a shorter flat headed screwdriver. You can see where the "star" like gear has little teeth on it so you can put the screwdriver in the teeth and turn it. as you turn (make sure you are going in the right direction)that should loosen it. If you look closly at the picture look for the thing that says "plug" You can see where it will be on the backside. If you remove that "plug" you should be able to look in and see that adjuster. The picture is not from a Voyager but it will be the basically the same. I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain. Use the picture that should help you. I hope this helps and good luck.
Quick temp. rise, with an inconsistant knock.
The water pump may have a bearing type noise if bad or a slow leak. The quick temp rise may be air in the coolant. I assume you have plenty of coolant in the motor right now. Also, make sure there is no coolant in the oil. It would be a milky, white, or gray color. And of course, the thermostat may be sticking, this is usually a quick fix and inexpensive. At least that will eliminate one cause. take care and good luck. Oh yeah, is your cooling fan kicking on, or does the temp rise even before your motor gets warm to the touch? If the fan is not kicking on when it needs to, then it could be the wiring to the thermostatic switch or the switch itself. Or of course, the fan itself.
Our 1993 Plymouth Voyager takes forever to heat up
Good place to start. Make sure you bleed system good with rad cap off and heater on when refilling system after changing thermostat. Do you get good heat when temperature gauge at normal operating temperature?
