Should not be any higher then 750 RPM.

The starter is located under the intake manifold in between the twu cylinder heads, the entire intake system has to be removed to replace the starter.

check the sa/nav fuse in engine compartment. may be blown. or sat/nav dvd reader is in trunk of car on passenger side above wheel arch, unscrew holding screws , disconnect power cords at rear, & get unit checked. it may be finished. can repair or replace..both expensive.

Hi, the only real option you could try yourself is one of 2 things,
1, go and buy a small can of compressed air, computer repair or hardware shops can sell you one of these, they are used for blowing dust out of hard to reach places, so get hold of one of these small cans, and put the straw attatchment on to it and give it a good blast of air inside the part you push the cd into, make sure you keep the can upright to prevent any liquid coming out of the can, keeping it upright will ensure you only have air coming out of the can.

2, now if the above dont work then the only other option you have open to you is go to a computer hardware store and purchase a cd lense cleaning kit, this is a cd that goes in the player and it has small brushes on it, you then play this in the player and it will read error like it is now, but then you take this cd out and try a normal cd and see if that makes it start working, if you cant see the cd cleaner on the shops shelf just explain to them its for cleaning the laser in your cars cd player as you cant get to it to clean it by hand, they will then sell you the cd your looking for,

now if both the above fail to solve the problem then chances are the laser itself is no longer working and the chance of getting this repaired cheaper than buying a new stereo is pretty slim, most people dont repair them anyway due to the high cost involved if you have to pay someone to do the work, the best optiong would be to replace the whole unit with a new one or second hand one if you wasnt that bothered about it been new,

What I would do is contact an auto recycler, also know as a junkyard, and have them search for one. If they do not have it another junkyard somewhere will have that part. They remove it and ship it to you. Your local mom and pop junkyard may not be on the internet so find a large yard. Many yards are on line and often you can search their inventory from your armchair. If that gets you no luck look on ebay motors and craiglist, there are often folks selling their broken down vehicles off part by part.

if your pedal pulsates when your stopping you have one or more of your brake rotors worped you can get them resurface sometimes but i recommend yust replacing them you can get them auto zone,or advance auto

Check the body ground by the battery

This particular Year and Model does not include a cabin air filter. If there was one it would be located behind the glove compartment..

I fixed the no disk detected error by pulling the unit, and taking it apart and replacing the drive motor in my dads 2003 RX suv... some light soldering required. Nav unit is surely the same... and I have replacement motors could do this for you much cheaper than a dealer... email [email protected] if you want

make sure there is no debris in the window track at the top. raise the window all the way to the top holding the button in the up position, when the window gets to the top keep holding the button to the count of 5. the window is in finger saver mode when it comes back down like that.

The NAV disc in North America is proprietary, likely so in UAE as well. You will need to find a Lexus dealer for this one. Best of luck. Awesome vehicle.
FYI, The disc will only improve current mapping , little change to resolution

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

Hi... Had this issue in the past with my 2004 RX. Someone gave me this tip but I don't know how it will look in your car: What I did is the following: Took off the DVD Unit (mine was in the rare trunk) unsrew the screws. There is ribon kind of thing that you need to disconnect ( i guess I had to unscrew some other drivers as well inside the unit.. cant recall). Anyway, after disconnecting that ribon, reconnect it and put everything back and it should work fine.

For 2002 LX470; after monthly starting failures each month, over seven month period. First, battery was replaced, then throttle assembly, then engine computer, then ignition module, then transmission, then problem was attributed to a cracked fuse module and entire module was replaced. Port for one of the fuses was supposedly cracked (although no final determination could be made because module is completely sealed and cannot be opened without destroying entire contents). Problem attributed to expansion/contraction in module that had crack, resulting in intermittent starting failures.

Yes it will, once no power is going to it it should or it could remain locked as well Give it a try . But you should have a look at the relay

try grounding pins 1 - 4 this should lick or unlock the diff..

There is a plastic tab that a screw goes through. Into the top corner of the headlight, closest to the front marker light. If the screw and or tab is missing, it was broken off at some point. There are three points on the backside of the marker light lens. That hold and secure the fixture. With firm pressure you must pull the marker light lens straight forward, out of its fixed position. Plastic trim removal tools make removal easier. You can pry on the rear edge of the lens without damaging the paint on the fender or the lens itself. the cable from the door handle to the door lock has either broke or the plastic retaining clip has snapped ,either way take the door panel off and have a look to verify exactly what is wrong
