I have a 97 lexus and the tail lights and blinkers are not working.. I checked all the fuzes and they r good
make sure you have the right bulbs in and make sure they're incorrectly seated all the way and you might even check the contact points and their pull the bulbs out checking contact points for a build up of Gunk or something or rust. get a test light check all your fuses with a test light just because they look good doesn't mean they are good. that doesn't fix it then you got a dead short somewhere and add break out the schematics in the factory service manual if you can get ahold of a copy of it for free. lot of times you can go to say a Lexus forum page and they will have a link to the PDF file of the factory service manual. and if your car is old enough that it has a 2JZ I would say pull the motor ditch the Lexus and put it in a Chrysler conquest have some real fun LOL

Probably defective valve stem oil seals allowing oil to leak along the valve guides and enter the combustion chamber/exhaust system.
Valve stem oil seals tend to be more affected by time than mileage and some of the materials used have been shown to be adversely affected by some of the oil additives used by oil companies.
One further thing to note - inside the modern engine a large volume of oil is delivered to the top of the engine (valve gear) every minute and in order for the oil level around the valve gear to remain constant the oil must drain back into the oil pan at least as quickly as is delivered. A too high level can overwhelm even good valve stem seals.
Sometimes the oil return ports can become restricted...

I recently had my engine replaced in my 2002 grand marquis 4.6 with a 2009 crown Vic 5.4 engine and was running fine until I broke my ignition and tried to replace it myself I bought a new ignition switch didn't work so I bought a steering column and still won't start what do I do
