replace teh starter the Bendix drive is not extending all the way, also check your battery it may not be generating enough current to completely extend the Bendix drive on the starter,

sounds like bad spark plugs and wires or a cracked head or head gasket in whick coolant could be mixing n with the oil. check for coolant leaks

syncros are gone for the fifth gear, replace trans or dont use fifth gear. short distance vehicle, good luck

Usually you do not remove the bed, but rather drop the fuel tank. Everything should be accessable then.
But, the bed just unboltst and you release all of the wires. A bed often gets damaged during removal, so I suggest that you drop the tank and do your repairs from the underside. It will be faster and easier.

Have you removed the spark plugs to look and see how the cylinders are burning fuel, while the plugs are out you could check the compression in each cylinder,
How about the fuel pressure, what is it ?

make sure the injector rail is bolted down correctly, and also installed right, the injectors should not be able to come out,there may be missing bolts,

Was it 40 below out? Cable frayed, rats nest on the engine? Mat wadded up in the pedals? Take a good look, as this is not a common occurance. Hope this helps!

the coil pack is a series of coils if he replaced the pack then all the coils were replaced. now the question is were they new or were they a junk yard part. try replacing the rotor under the distributer cap.

Check that the drain holes in the engine bay scuttle are not blocked with dirt or leaves etc, because if they block up and the scuttle area at the rear of the engine fills up with water, it can create a short at the electical connections that maybe there. On BMW the computer is there, and when this scenario happens it shuts the power to the ecu and wont start. Hope that helps

Normally it can be found on the cross member where the hood latch is located.

can you hear the fuel pump kick on when you are trying to start it?

Yes be sure the number one piston is at TDC firing stroke or compresson stroke and line up the timing mark pointer is pointed at exactly zero. One more thing when aligning the camshaft sprocket or sprockets be sure that when you are rotating the sprocket for the cam it is rotating in the correct direction and also be sure you observe the intake valve for number one shutting as you bring the marks up to alignment points, the intake valve and the exhaust valve should be shut when the marks line up if not you could have the cam sprocket off 180 degrees, get it right the first time or you may damage a valve trying to start.

Your back up light switch is screwed into teh side of your transmission. It is the only switch on the transmission .

have you tried anew flasher unit ,that is one thing that is common to all parts

what about IWC watches?

The slave cylinder is inside the bellhousing.
It is part of the release bearing
