first off , know ONE FACT, the ABS is only tuned to YOUR CAR. fact 2, the ABS is tuned to ALL options on your car, (lots ) so there will be no crossing, unless super lucky,..... call Isuzu,! (answering for rodeo, non sport) yet? only they know or any autowreckers that have Hollanders, data bases, (and fees) what make, what do you mean. what car brands and makes share this part. what years, isuzu fit. all that is answered if you just try to buy one. even online. learn to do your own research, (isuzu be PITA ,as they bugged out for cars) Id sell it, due to that fact, (like owning freakn Yugo)? first go to isuzu, page, and call them. see whats offerred with live help. there online pages sux, so... call them. next go to here, they have vast parts, and many brands matching so you can learn who makes parts for this old car, in seconds. seen here. http://www.rockauto.com I looked, they show NADA not a good thing that, why own any ISUZU? the means you get to buy new from ISUZU or used parts, Im no fan of used ABS I also looked at or great rebuilder cardone. NADA. Raybestos, Nada i give up, you can ask any autostore in town. walk in is best, get help, non weekend best my guess, nada. or call a wrecker (ill look in there network) for you, so can you , see link. are you in usa, if in canada, i cant find parts there. ok i did, then it ask for 20 options on car the ABS brains very by 20 factors. like does it have 4wd what transmission door count (and suspension) what transfer case (4wd) and here is my guess, on ALL THAT (useless) i picked top of list (lazy) here http://www.car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi that like networks all of N.america. for used ABS brains. (last resort) finding abs parts is hard, on cars from makers that bugged out. yugo Suzuki Isuzu Daewoo Daihatsu good luck finding complex Isuzu parts. call here, http://www.isuzuparts.com/

To many things will cause fuel mileage to drop. First thing to do is read the codes(write them down). Erase them, them read them again. If it a code comes right back, check it first. No codes, drive it for 10 minutes or so, Check codes again. If they reappear check them . Some codes only come back after driving two times.

I read all your posts here is what I see:
  1. U spent a fortune on labor already. sorry for that !!!
  2. no DTC codes presented, find a shop that will do that for free and write them all down. IS BEST.
  3. The spark wells flood on all 14 year old engines , all do, and needs a new felpro gasket set as seen below. valve cover.
  4. if 3 is true, the the C.O.P spark coil on that flooded well will be burned up, a new boot is $17 , replace that now or you will get misfire codes on the cyl. if #3 is oil soaked you get P0303.
  5. There are 13 ECU's sold for the V6, not sure if it needs programming call ISUZU and ask.
  6. If the Engine overheats the trans does too, they are thermally one all ONE. (in 2 ways , the metal and the cooler)
  7. The common bad thermostat with a 7 year life span is bad, if yours is 14 years old, and is deep hidden on the wide heads vin8th code W and X but never on Vin V or other VIN engine codes.
those 6 donuts get hard and all leak on all engine with COPS COP= spark coil , over plug. 26327859-zmsyhdoq0bchja2tyrgko02m-1-0.jpg this show the two V6s, with 4 cams, DOHC that has the whole intake removed, to get to that PESKY thermostat. 26327859-zmsyhdoq0bchja2tyrgko02m-1-1.jpg the thermostat is front center, and removed here. They last about 7 years max, not one ever lasts life of engine. thermostats are like car batteries, with near same life span. Invent one that lasts and you'd be a very rich man. BTW I use and IR thermal gun to check engine coolant temps to see if they exceed 170F, if yes, BINGO. i guess this V6 runs at 170f, 10 deg. lower that most cars do not use the wrong thermostat. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1145656&cc=1386637&jsn=334 do not put a fails safe thermostat here , if it trips all that work repeats. a bad bad idle that. on this engine. The same IR gun for $15 finds clogged radiator tubes super easy ask.

The problem is in the ignition switch where the key goes there is a sensor that senses key in ignition that breaks and grounds itself causing constant annoying beeping

2002 Isuzu Rodeo • Answered on Sep 07, 2016

This could be caused by a number of things. Does the car have security.? Do the lights go out after a period of time? Some vehicles have a Sensor to turn the lights on and off. Some vehicles are equipped with daytime running lights. I do not think the latter is the problem. It could just be a problem with the light switch. Please comment and let us know if the lights stay or go off after a period of time
