2002 AERIO - will not

Does the engine crack when you turn the key?
if it does it is probably not the battery.
You can mesure if the battery is dead. the voltage across the poles should be about 12v, any lower than 8-9v you have a problem.
It does not always mean that you battery is dead. Could also be that it is not charging the battery right. when the engine is running the voltage should be <13.6v and when you rev the engine it sould go up a little bit. If it doesnt, then you alternator is dead.

Replace door mirror

There should be a little panel on your door that when removed will reveal 3 nuts and a connector for the motor to adjust the mirror. Pull the connector off the plug and remove the 3 nuts and remove the mirror.

Up hill must pump gas

Change fuel filter....9 times out of 10 it is normally the fuel filter when it lugs up hill....However it is still a good idea to check plugs and wires...air filter...make sure all connections are tight and not corroded.....But it should be the fuel filter............hope this helps......let me know...comments are appreciated..................Metalpoet

Fan for heather do not

Check the corresponding fuse.
From another site: "On the left side of the dashboard lower you will find a rectangle with a small square box opening , pull this and the door will open exposing the fuse box."

I tried to replace the mass airflow sensor but it

check your idle air control valve. it controls the idle speed. when it gets gummed up it can no longer adjust idle speed. remove the IAC and spray with carburtor cleaner. also clean the throttle bore and throttle plate.

Also check for computor trouble codes. most auto parts stores will check this for free

I put athrottle body in an now it wont shift into

Hi

is it the correct size throttle body or a slightly larger one? this would make a big difference to the air mass sensor, lambda oxygen sensor and emmissions.

Is this a regular replacement part, please clarify.

How to remove alternator from

you have to remove the air cleaner assembly, power steering pump and suction hose, remove the belt, the front of the exhaust system which is the intermediate pipe, the lower engine cover and then the alternator cover.

How to change timing chain

are you sure you want to do this? if you do then remove the engine from the car and remove:oil pan pump and strainer, cylinder head cover, crankshaft pulley, A/C compressor bracket, generator, water pump and tensioner pulley, and then remove the timing cover which will reveal the two chains.

Can't remove rear brake drums on 2002 aerio

Sometimes drums can stick. Make sure the handbrake is released and give it some hard knocks with a rubber mallet. Also try twisting the drums left and right as you pull, they should come free.
