You can gap your new plugs at .039 to .043 . I gap at .043 with no performance problems. Good Luck Friend.

the cooling system will not fill completely if the bleed plug located @ the highest point of the system up is not opened when you are filling up..that plug could be @ the radiator , but normally is @ the top of the system where the top rad hose are..replace the plug after bleeding the system is complete..

It sounds like a computer problem. Every time you shut down, the audio chip reboots. Then when it warms up, it fails again. If it's still under warranty, I'd take it in for a chip replacement. If not, you may be SOL and have to replace the whole thing (or replace the faulty circuitboard or chip yourself..

sorry the low/no oil has caused bearing failure repairs will reveal that you need new bearings, rod and possible new crankshaft if the damage is severe it comes as a cost for not doing the simple practice of not checking oil and water levels at least weekly

the turbo is a variable vane type that means that there are vanes in the exhaust housing that redirects the exhaust gas flow onto the turbine blades to get extra boost at low rpms those vanes are controlled by an actuator and vacuum hose from a sensor the hoses get brittle from the heat and fails , the vanes can rust up and seize or the actuator doesn't get the message from the sensor run the fault codes first , then take it to an accredited turbo professional shop for a proper diagnosis

as it an automatic and one of the sensor for the cruise control is the VSS then I would be suspecting that there is a problem in the overdrive of the transmission -could be harness connections , TCM cruises control need these items to operate brake witch to be operational-- touching the brakes cancels the cruise control VSS to be operational , --reports the speed of the vehicle so that the cruise controlled speed can be maintained tachometer to be operational --- will shut the cc of if there is a speed limiter involved gear position switch to be operational ECM to be operational if any one item has a break in circuit , the cruise control will turn off could be as simple as a bad ground connection for the ground wire from the battery

On the subaru below the windshield you have to take the wipers off then take the plastic vents off and its underneath it

Check the fuel filter and the fuel pump. The wire to it may be what you're smelling,
