What may be wrong when

When was last tune up? Plugs, wires, all fluids & filters - especially fuel filter???? I'd start there and run a good fuel system cleaner through it and avoid cheap gas.

I find the radiator drian plug

Hi in my experience your better off removing a lower radiator hose at its lower point to drain the cooling system as radiator drain taps are often made of plastic and snap off when you try to undo them ,giving you a bigger problem of how to fix a dripping snapped off tap

How to replace the safety

HI!!
All models use a starter relay in starter circuit between the battery and starter solenoid terminal. Automatic Transmission (A/T) equipped vehicles use a Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch or a Transmission Range (TR) sensor to provide ground path for the starter relay. Manual Transmission (M/T) equipped vehicles use a clutch pedal position switch to provide battery voltage from ignition switch to the starter relay.
Locate Neutral Safety Switch on top of the Transmission,
  • Put the selector in the park position.
  • Loosen the screws on the neutral safety switch.
  • Remove the switch.
  • Reverse the procedures to complete the installation.

My 1999 Plymouth breeze makes a bad noise when

sounds like the cv joints which drive the front wheels are worn out or have no grease in them.
Best way to check is to jack up car and turn the wheel left or right and turn by hand and listen or feel for roughness when being rotated.

Where is the battery located

to get to the battery on most breezes you have to take off the front driver tire and the wheel well
You really do not have to take the wheel off just turn it all the way to the left and jack it up a few inches the battery will slide right out
To get to the battery on a 99 Breeze, turn the wheel as far as you can to the left. In front of the tire in the wheel-well is a plastic cover with 5 tabs across the top and side. Turn these 1/4 turn to the left, and the panel pulls off. Use a 1/2 inch socket to remove the battery mount/hold down. It would be best to remove the top bolt first. Then use a 5/16 inch socket to remove the front mount battery cables, and the battery will slide right out. You may have to lift the car a bit to get the battery out.
