Replaced starter, car started for 4 days. Fifth day car wouldn't start, just made a clicking noise. What could it be now?

If the lights are dim it is a battery problem. It might be a just dirty terminal or the connection on the starter is not good. Check the voltage of the battery with the lights on, should be 12 volts. If it drops when you try to start then it is faulty. The voltage when running should be 14 volts or more.

Why would my steering wheel vibrate back and fourth

Obviously you have several things can cause this: 1) Bent Wheel, 2) Loose or Missing Lug Nuts, 3) Lost Balance Weight(s), 4) Wheels Badly Out of Balance, 5) Bad Front Wheel Bearings.6) CV Joints badly worn. Basically, anything to do with proper balance of the front wheels can cause this. Usually this condition exists somewhere around 45 MPH +/- about 5 MPH. Have a reliable ASE Technician check it out as soon as possible. If a wheel were to come off at any speed it could be instant disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being a front wheel drive car, the CV Joints could be worn out. You don't give the Miles on your vehicle. Typically CV Joints and Hub Kits (Wheel Bearings) do wear out. If you have in excess of 100,000 miles replace what needs it. Get an estimate First and consider if is worth fixing as a 1999 Breeze may not be worth the investment of the required repairs.

How to check heater core hoses on a 99 Plymouth

there are two hoses connected to the engine and firewall( front of passenger area of car below windshield) look for leaks, cracks or looseness. It is best to do this when the car is cool so you can reach down and touch the parts without burning yourself. squeeze the hose if it is really soft like a sponge it is wore out and needs replacement also if it is really hard (almost crunchy it is dried out and bad) it should feel roughly like a good garden hose firm but not overly firm. you might see brownish rusty lines down the hose which means it is leaking. The hoses will probly be on passenger side of car or center.

I am looking to locate the water pump on a 99

The water pump on both the 2.0 and 2.4 is behind the timing cover on the passenger side. The water pump is driven by the timing belt, and typically this is not a repair for the non-experienced mechanic. If the timing components are not aligned properly when reassembling, internal damage to the engine will occur.

Hi Coop,

When you put the ignition on and the lights comes on the dash then you can look for the ABS symbol which is just like this (ABS) if so then you have the abs on your car if no light then you don't have it . My 02 Stratus heater only works on high. Any idea

Your blower resistor is bad. It controls the mutiple speeds to allow you to go from low/med/high. When it goes bad you get one speed or no speeds....It's about $20-$50 at any local auto parts store. It mounted directly to the speed switch or on the heater plenum unit on the passenger side behind the glove box....

I have a 2000 plymouth

trying to diagnose auto A/C issues on the internet is difficult at best. There are lots of questions that have to ber answered first. Did you replace the drier reciever? DId you flush the system? Did you evacuate the system prior to adding refrigerant, and did you add the proper type and amount of oil? DId you add the proper amount of refigerant? Auto A/C is not something that I would recommend the average person try to repair, as doing it wrong can result in non working A/C or even personal injury or worse. I would take it to a repair shop that you trust and have them diagnose the problem for a proper repair.
