I have a Plymouth breeze 2009 it is overheating you can drive it for awhile then it starts getting hot already replaced tremostat flushed radiator now what could it be

If you are losing water, check your oil and if it is light brown or milky, than you have a bad head gaskets or cracked head. If not check your radiator hoses for kinks, cracks or blockage due to corrosion.

My belt is squeling when i start my car and when I turn my steering wheel

It's probably time to replace the belt. As the belt gets older, it stretches and a "glaze" forms on the belt. These two things together contribute to the belt slipping. The squeal you hear is the belt actually slipping on the pulleys.

I have a 1998 Plymouth breeze that won't start.

Hello! I would suggest having a look at the Brown wire that connects to the starter solenoid...It may be touching chassis ground...Also check the Large Red lead that attaches to the starter...One or both are touching chassis ground...If the Red lead is against ground it will not blow a fuse, in that it is connected directly to battery...And give the systoms that you have...Guru...saailer I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_6df67de3b14de867

How to replace a headlight bulb in a 98 plymouth

these bulbs go in from behind the headlight assy. from under the hood look at the back of the headlight and locate the wiresgoing to the back of the headlight you can turn the connector or pull it out gently then turn the back of the bulb to remove it replacement is the reverse-- don't touch the glass of the new bulb, handle it by the base-fingerprints will shorten the life of a bulb of this type some parts stores will sell you the bulb and replace it for you if its not to hard for them-- too difficult then the automotive center at wally world or k mart will replace it for a fee

Transmission oil change, how often?

I recommend every 50,000 miles under normal conditions. If you do a lot of short trips, 'stop & go', pull a trailer, or live in a hot or dusty location, change every 30,000 miles.

Water boils into overflow

make sure the cooling fans on the rad are working, then you may need the thermostat changed as if its stuck closed the motor will overheat and boil over.you can also get a block check done which will check for combustion chamber gases which indicate either a bad headgasket or a head problem.these are popular for headgasket problems.

98 ply breeze heater blows cold air, replcd water

Yep! Take the heater hoses loose from the engine(one at water pupm\\mp and other one at thermostat housing area usually). Then take your water hose at your house, with a common old pistol grip nozzle, and spray water back thru the heater hose you took off the water pump side and that will force it back thru the heater core and out the hose you took off the thermostat side. If you want to see the junk that flies out of it,tie a white rag or old tee shirt onto the end of the hose. You'll be amazed what flies out of there.Reconnect your heater hoses and see how it does. I always fill the hose full of water so when I reconnect them, they don't have any airlock problem. don-ohio (:^)

1998 Plymouth Breeze 2.0L Starter install: I

  • See the diagram below for a visual of your starter installed.
  • The alternator wire goes on top of the battery cable just like it sounds like you did. If something sparked you might have a loose connection from the starter install. The sparks mean there was a real bad direct short somewhere. You will have to look and find it. Remove the negative battery cable until your reinspect your job.

My car has an oil leak somewhere around the middle

You really just have to get in there with a rag and clean it up. If you dont see the leak right away clean everything that looks wet and look the next day to see where it is wet again. Then you will be able to see where the leak is coming. Did you pay for this solution or is it free?? just wondering fix ya has a new site so i dont know how it works yet. Let me know. Thanks

I changed the oil pressure sending switch, but my

I have done some chrysler vehicles that the hole that the unit screws into has to be cleaned also, mostly durango's. But when you change a oil sending unit and it doesn't help, light or gauge. then the crankshaft bearings are worn and it's time for an engine rebuild or replacement.
