Most likely the blower speed control resistor is bad. Try that before you start tearing apart your dashboard.

Bob, I note you didn't actually ask a question. If you are replacing heater hoses, you can get generic "heater hose" at any parts place. Take a sample of the old to get the right size, and cut it to fit.

You need a new sensor. It's in the upper finish panel of the dash. pry up the panel and it unplugs and is easily removed. Reverse for installation. Part #F5VY19E663A, less than $50.00, take a trained tech about 1/2 hour.

the fan motor or wiring might be at fault , loose connection. even the fuse panel too.

more then likley you will not be able to "hot wire" ford uses a chipped key set, meaning even if you can get the car cranking it will never run because the pcm needs to "see" the key programmed to it http://southernelectronics.com/

They had issues with the intake manifold leaking air, this can cause a miss, but i would start with plugs and wires. don't worry to much on a fuel filter at this point. southernelectronics.com

I have exactly the same problem started last winter, ran fine all summer then as soon as it got below freezing again if I start it and run for 15 20 minutes wont restart I have to let it sit for 20 minutes or so and then it will start again. no codes and just turns over without starting. cant be fuel pump like i said had this problem last winter then ran fine all spring summer and fall! Anybody got the answer for this one??

Answer borrowed from BigNslow Determine the capacity of the cooling system, then properly refill the system at the recovery tank or radiator opening with a 50/50 mixture of fresh coolant and distilled water until it reaches the FULL COLD line on the recovery tank or the radiator is full. Leave the recovery tank or radiator cap off to aid in bleeding the system. Start the engine and allow it to idle until the thermostat opens (the upper radiator hose will become hot). The coolant level should go down, this is normal as the system bleeds the air pockets out of the system. Refill the system with coolant to the proper level. Turn the engine OFF and check for leaks.

Before you adjust switches, get the car on a lift and be sure the shift linkage is tight. If the linkage is worn, the car may not be fully in park even though the lever and indicator look like the car is in park. The switch is on the transmission. You should be able to see it when the car is on the lift.

Hi just food for thought,the nocking would normaly mean the big ends where worn,but as you have sied that the oil pressure is low it could well be that the oil-pump is worn or filter of oil pickup is blocked. hope this was helpfull.

If it's a 2002 I doubt there is any coverage. this car is 13 years old. Most cars are covered for five years or less.to my knowledge.

Check the AC charge. If it's low, add refrigerant. If the fan is not working, you'll need to check the fan and replace if it went bad. typically, a fan starts to squeal before the bearings give out and the fan quits working.

4 different gear ratios were available in this car. May want to call the dealer and let them run the VIN to tell you which one your car has. Sometimes there is a tag on the differential cover with the gear ratio on it.

Go to youtube and type: (self-test) procedure for EATC modules. Then select the third video which is 3:51. If it give you a fault code/codes then type: www.idmsvcs.com/2vmod/eatcswap/selftest.html This website will decipher the codes meaning.

Usually the switch goes bad, not a fuse...but check for all blown fuses,...if all are working, then the old a vehicle needs a new part (eBay) or junkyard selection part from the same year vehicle
