2000 Honda (Isuzu Rodeo) Check Engine Light ? 4 Codes, Misfire/Throttle/EVAP ?
Hi Jack,
I am not an expert and I don't have the codes in front of me with the meaning but I can offer some advice and hopefully it will solve your problem. First keep the print out of the codes and take it/them with you. Have someone check the oxygen sensor. It's possible that all of the codes you are getting lead up to the computer (electrical issue). I sure hope this helps. Good luck and let me know how things turn out.
Gas guage doen't work
HI,
It's probably WATER coming out of the exhaust as that's the result of the engine running...not a problem.
Gas gauge is separate from the pump....usually. It could be a fuse (look in the Owner's Manual for fuse location) or the fuel 'sender' which is what measures the fuel level. This is usually IN the fuel tank. Sorry I don't know where it is on your Rodeo..
Search online - Google it - for fuel sender. Remember, your Rodeo is the same as the Honda Passport for the '94-2002 model years so search under the Passport too.

Anti lock brake bleed
I would have the entire brake system checked out by certified brake technicians. Would not want to risk a "maybe now fixed" approach with brakes.
Turns over but no spark
ur time belt may still be off-did u use a haynesbook or othr repair manual------u can chec for any melted wires etc from ovrheat--coil may bed fried or worn--the whining may be from the throttl area--idle air motor or vacuum leak-----u need to confirm ther is activity in the ignition system-take a plug out hookd up to its cable an crank in the dark--if there then timing is off--or not gittn strong enuf spark--or compression may be weak
Check engine light on
the check engine light is telling you that the CPU has recorded faults in sensors/ solenoids / servos that are outside set parameters. So run the fault codes and fins out what is wrong. It may be low oil level---low coolant level ---and any other number of serious problems that you must investigate immediately if you do not want expensive repairs.
