its called a short circuit ,that fuse saved you from the fire. all blinker wires can be shorted, in every inch of car, all 4 corners. even lamps can short, why not get car fixed, its a very simple common electrical problem. most fuses on the car are shared, no 100 fuses. is why. no room for the 100 that means you cant fix cars electrics with out a schematic. login to mitchells diy and read. its all there. any time, on USA cars. no the reverse switch is not , its wires are when you go to reverse the switch closes and the 2 lamps glow this closure IS a short but is 100% normal what is not normal are the wires shorting to ground or the lamps shorted. those old lamps can short, the large base bulbs do that we find shorts using an ammeter. inspections of wires. and first learn what shared path is shorted first. then bark up that tree hard.

The Isuzu's have lots of relays. Most of them carry the same value, so change one for the other and see if that solves the problem. If it does buy another relay. But checking the two main fuses takes a continuity tester or test light.
