First of all be sure that your four digit security radio code is correct. If you had attempted three times without success to exit from safe mode by inserting the code, radio is blocked in safe mode for a while. You have coolant burning. Your 2.7T is a hot-running engine and the plastic tank sits above the left side exhaust manifold.
