Take many pictures as you disassemble the motor to get the head off. Be certain that you tighten the head to proper torque specs and you must get a head gasket set to do the job. Also it is best to take the head to a machine shop to see if it is warped, if so must be surfaced and they can repair the plug hole for you while it's there. Depending on the mileage you may need a valve job as well. At the very minimum have the head checked for warpage. Good luck to you and it is a process that requires some specialty tools.

The fake wood strips on both sides of the console have to come off by first opening the console storage door and lift up on the strips starting from the most rearward end.
