V6. How do I install serpentine belt?
1. Get the belt routing diagram first.2. It is essentially the same process for many of the most commonly manufactured engines. So.............. 3. Here is a video which covers the process (copy the web address into your browser)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOjHRxUfCpU
I have a 06 Mercury Milan with 120k miles.
Sounds like your belt broke or came off. If the power steering quit working too. The belt runs power steering, alternator, A/C unless it is different belt. Have you looked under the hood at all? If it turns out that it isn't that. Then check all of the connections on the battery and alternator. Check fuses for charging system.
I hope this helps.
Loud sound when press button to release trunk why?
Still working though right? Many of the relay systems use an electric solenoid motor to generate the release...usually located at the connection tab as closing...also will help you find for replacement if it fails...easy to find replacement, and easy to replace. Hope this helps.
I had my tierods and rotors replaced on my car and now I hear a rubbing noise in the steering and alot of creaks under the car
There should be NO creaking noises coming from this repair of tie rod ends because they are supposed to be greased before the job can be called complete. There should be NO rubbing noises either from rotor replacement. Possible minute for a short period until the brake pads wear in to fit new rotors, but that shouldn't be noticeable. I would take the vehicle right back to the man that did your repairs and tell him the problem and ask him what he will do about it. From what I remember, OEM ball joints and tie rod ends are manufactured with NO grease fittings in them. They have to be drilled and grease fittings applied so they can be greased for longevity. Find out from your installer on this point. If there is no grease fittings, have them installed and greased. And new rotors normally would call for new brake pads also.
