Should I replace the timing belt & water pump
Yes it would be a very good idea to change them all at once. You can't go wrong there because most timing belts and water pumps go out around 90-100,000 miles. Go for it I would.
Good Luck!
I have reoccurring Fuel Injection problems with my 3.2 Acura TL
If the idle is rough but the engine otherwise seems somewhat normal, it could be an EGR valve stuck open.
This allows exhaust fumes into the intake path at a time the engine can't deal with it instead of allowing engine RPMs and a better air-fuel mix to be established before dumping the exhaust garbage into the engine.
Frankly, I have the EGR 'cheated' on our stuff; guess Gore will never be my buddy...
I would have it scanned free at one of the auto parts chain stores.

One of my spark plugs melted and came out of the
When you stated that the spark plug melted, do you mean that the normally white ceramic part came out or the metal portion that screws into the block?
If you mean the ceramic part then the spark plug with still come out as normal.(Usually 5/8 socket)
If you mean it actually melted the metal of the spark plug then you will probably have to pull the motor because you have very server problems. Tapping the hole will give a new hole but the spark plug will have to change size and the more interesting problem is how did it melt. Too much fire! valves or cracked head/block
Do I need to reset the radio or any other
You normally need any security codes you or the manufacturer have programmed the radio with .
The clock and dashboard configuration will need to be reset
You can make up a set of leads with an open jawed croc clip (so that it fits around the battery posts ) and clip these to the car battery cables while you are doing the transfer
I would suggest that you also wrap the positive lead in a cloth in case you earth it down while you are lifting one battery out and the other in
I have a 2005 acura tl and i just purchased the
I had this too, on the left rear door handle cover. If you were careful, had a small and thin screwdriver (e.g. the kind you'd use on eyeglass hinges), you could bend back the tabs that hold the cover on and snap it into place. My mechanic told me the same thing, but told me if I were patient, the cover might snap on...saving me about 2 hours' labor cost. It worked!
How to get code for 2005 acura tl radio code
just had this happen to me, you need to find the radio serial number, if you bought from a dealer then they should have put the number on the glove box plastic frame inside the glove box. If it is not there nor in your manual then you will have to take it in and get your radio taken out to see the serial number on the back of the actual radio. Once you find the serial number you can call any Acura dealer and give them the radio serial number and they will give you the code.
