Evidently, you have a short. A lamp is probably draining the battery in the trunk, the glovebox/well or under the engine hood.

You can perform a process of elimination by opening your trunk and observe the light is on. Find the switch for the light and press it in to make sure the light turns off. Do this a couple of times to eliminate an intermittently function switch. Do the same for under your hood, glove box, etc.

Basically, you are drawing current for something. The easiest way to find this is with a current meter hooked up to your battery but what I have suggested above is for the non-technical person to try at home.

Try something with perhaps opposing arrows? Otherwise look through the fuses one at a time, it is easy to spot if the fuse is blown. A small pair of pliers will make it easier to remove and replace the fuses.

All cars have this small opening on the shifter gate. It is always on the left side of the shifter when the shifter is on PARK. Pry that open and insert the car key. That should override the safety switch and let you shift the car off PARK.

It seems like your battery has drained. Have you tried to jump start your car?

Camshaft position actuator B- bank 1 curcuit malfunction.. 3 things will cause this, Bad cam actuator, loose or broken wire to the actuator, bad ECM. As for the yearof your car, my guess would be the cam actuator, but I would rule out the wiring first.

Your heater core is leaking. The only way to fix it is to replace it.

As to any cars, when it snow, and going up hill there will be promblems, best way for the tl is turn on the vsa, put it in a low gear, like d1 d2.... and slowly press on the accelerator. Best solution is to stay away from hills until road has been trreat. Remember your Tl is only 2wd drive front wheel. It won't be able to handle like a 4wd or awd.

The problem will be on the dvd not the car's computer though they are interconnected. On the first error it should have been brought to the dealership for they provide codes to reset the unit. During the battery removal it failed permanently because the anti theft was triggered.

I strongly suggest that you take it to the dealership for they are the only one who can reset the unit.

Your service person is spot on. Yes you should have it done. I can attest to your skepticism but I think those horror stories come from some of the independent and/or quick lube places. If it's the dealer doing the work, they guarantee parts & labor for one year. Your service person is looking out for you

You need to reset your service reminder.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.
2. Press the INFO button (button with arrow icons) repeatedly until the engine oil life is displayed.
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for 10 seconds. The multi-information display will ask for a confirmation.

If you are sure you want to reset the display, press the SEL/ RESET button to select "OK".

enter the radio code. It should be on a credit card sized card with the owners manual ect. if you dont have the code, the dealer may help you get it.

bad ignition coil will cause this.

One thing to try, is lock and unlock it with key in drivers door a couple of times, if that doesn't do it, try passenger door.

Check coolant level . Have someone very familiar with acuras look at it . may have air in the system and they can be tricky to burp. You do not want this engine to run hot. It will not forgive you.
