How can I fix my 6 disc cd changer?

Sorry, the service manual provides no service information for a malfunctioning CD player other than replacing the entire unit. (after making sure that all power and ground circuits to the player are functioning - which does not sound like the problem in this case)With that said, there are three possible solutions:1. Replace the unit with an aftermarket unit (I personally do not recommend this option due to the electrical nightmares that are often caused by this)2. Remove the unit and take it to an electronics repair shop to get it fixed. Wait for however long it takes them to do this (could be days or several weeks), then reinstall it when you get it back.3. Remove the unit and take it to your local Jeep dealer where they have an exchange program and they will sell you a remanufactured unit and give you credit for turning your unit in so it can be repaired and re-sold to another person. (Preferred method)

Weird tail light problem

HI Matt,Your issue sounds like a fault, most likely in the rear lights. Current is feeding from the brake light circuit, into the running light circuit. The most common causes are a bulb filament broken and touching the running light circuit, and loss of ground. observe the rear lights closely and you should get a clue as to which light is failing....but if not, just pick one....I would run a temporary ground and test again, if no results, pull the brake light bulbs...Transient current is often difficult to wrap your mind around, until you understand what can happen.Doc

I have parking sensors on my 2006 jeep grand

When you put your jeep into reverse you will see the red lights. These will still work even when is says service parking assist system needs service. The problem is in your transmission control unit. This is a common problem in the Grand Cherokees. You will have two options here. You can take it to your Jeep dealership and ask them to flash the TCU. This may or may not work. The other option is they will have to replace the TCU. They run about $600.00. Hopefully if they flash the TCU it will work again. Good luck

Barrety going down after setting over night have a draw and need wiring diagram so I can trace it down.

You can get Diagrams from Autozone.com. All you need to do is Register for free and then enter your Vehicle. Once the Vehicle is in, then go to Wiring Diagrams at the end of the repair list. The Diagrams are condensed, wait for the enlargement Box and then expand the image. Set your print page for a zone of 1 or 2 pages around the Diagram as it looks like Diagram 13 is not printed on page 13 for instance. So pages 12-14 may print Diagram 13. The Fixya site may have Color diagrams, but you access them directly.

HOW DO YOU TELL LOCATION OF FUSE #9

If you have the owners manual look in the index under fuses. If you don't have a manual you can find one on the Chrysler website. Click on the owners link. You can also check the fuses visually. It will be abvious if it is blown. You can also use a test light. You will see a little piece of metal sticking through the fuse on both sides. There should be power on both of those peices. If there is power on one side and not the other the fuse is blown. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com! There is no need to go disconnecting the battery as Leonard Javier has suggested above. If your Jeep is equipped with a driver's memory seat, the memory can be cleared at any time using the controls provided by the manufacturer. How you would go about doing this is covered in the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Owner's Manual, begining on page 114.If you do not have an Owner's Manual for your Jeep, you can download a PDF version of it for FREE at the following URL.http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/

Heating system doesnt work

First make sure the fuse and relay for the fan motor are good.If they are then with the ignition and the heater fan switch turned on wiggle on the connection going to the blower motor resistor also check connector for burn marks or melting. The location of the resistor is on the passenger side down towards the floor in the heat duct usally there is to screws that hold it in place. It should be the only thing that has wires on it coming out of the heat duct.

My battery light, gas light, seat belt light all flick on and off at the same time, whats wrong

Many times this is an indication of a poor post connection at the battery...plus or minus sides...be sure no corrosion, and tight side or top connections. As corrosion is present. disconnect thoroughly cleaning with wet baking soda, or even soda pop...lubricate with PB Blaster to help maintain a clean tight connection as you reassemble. Hope this helps.
