The car could not sense the signal from the sensor that determines engine speed and went into shutdown and limpin. First step is to retrieve the Trouble code and determine what is wrong. Do not drive the car.

misfire could cause o2 codes. o2 sensors are measuring the oxygen in the exhaust - if you're sending unburnt fuel through there (like a misfire), it would throw the value way off. if you're getting a 'lean' error, I would first suspect a bad fuel injector. But you are having a misfire on all cylinders... I would then look at the ECU as it may be having issues sending the 'open' signals to the injectors.

what country? we can never guess that, and lighting laws, vary by.
drum roll, country. USA below....

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section. NOTE The rear lamp unit may contain up to four bulbs, depending upon the market for which the vehicle was manufactured. The service procedures for each bulb are the same, only the bulb sizes and types may differ.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  3. Remove the rear lamp unit from the end of the quarter panel, as follows:
    • Open the tailgate to access and remove the two screws that secure the rear lamp unit to the two plastic nuts in the side jamb of the tailgate opening.
    • Pull the outboard side of the rear lamp unit rearward far enough to unsnap the two ball studs on the outboard side of the lamp housing from the two plastic grommets in the quarter panel.
    • Disconnect the wire harness connector from the lamp socket plate connector.
    • Remove the lamp from the quarter panel.
    • Remove the two plastic grommets from the quarter panel and discard.
Firmly grasp the socket on the socket plate on the back of the rear lamp unit housing for the bulb that is being removed and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.

the rear shaft? center prop shaft.
front, rear or CV? what? try point to the shaft and say
IM here, at X and want to replace Z, exactly HERE.
I toss dice land on REAR.
the joints have bolts, see them>? did you even look or just wondering?

which engine,
which transmission and 4wd options, called drive line, we can not guess this....
there are 8 , driveline optios (i cant guess it)
and 3 liberty models, ill guess sport
but will.
here is my wild guess.

see those rear bolts at the rear U-joint>?
1: match mark those rear parts, (means mark them so you get them back right , they are factory balanced..
2: remove the 4 bolts and nuts.
3: the prop shaft drops.
4: have a pan below, the A/T tranny (wild guess that) and catch any
ATF fluid that drips here.
5: slide the prop shaft of end of tranny or xfr case as it may apply.

or read the FSM,
or login to alldata.com and read. like we do.
