2001 Grand.
is car in the USA,? they make these in europe too.
with diesels there, all different.
but my guess , no engine stated, and the trans matches those.
the TCM in most cars was moved to the insides of the ECU
then renamed it to PCM, see?>
why not just read the FSM.
posted here over 300 times, this link, RTM read the manaul
then ask"?
the car is WJ
chapter 8w covers wiring.
as does trans, cover the 3 trans used here, all different.

why not just post symptoms and avoid easter egg hunts to nowwhere.
did you scan the PCM first? that be first.
after 1:
1: check levels on the box.
2: check fuses.
3: Scan the PCM for tranny errors.

301x and counting

Elisa where ? are you working at, EXACTLY?
sounds like it's wheel /axle bearing, is it?
or the pinion bearing????? there are many bearings in any axle.

id bet $100 you didnt just pop in a new rear crankshaft bearing
as other poster guessed.

my guess is the rear axle seal leaked, GL5 lube
and soaked the brakes and all? or the front pinion?
the job requires, all Gear lube, be cleaning off all parts there.
after the job ends, or it will leak RESIDUAL GL5 (imagine a kitchen sponge?)
which axle , the 198RBI or the 226RBA??

this seal., must i guess?
so if this seal leaks, its because the bearing is bad, and beat the seal to deathh.
#1 cause.
when it leaks goes all over.
the rear has discs but has TopHAT, emrg. brake shoes
and those will be wrecked, (soaked in GL5 lube and leak after
and the shoes are wrecked too.) so did you clean all that and replace all that. (i can guess what you did or touched,)

Looks like this might be the computer failing the initial self test. Check your battery voltage and if it is good have your starter checked.

Seems like an Earth problem for the RH lights.
Grab a Jumper lead. Attach one end to a good earth (engine or Neg. Battery post).
Other end to the RH metal mud guard.

seems like a power issue, you could try buying a new battery or take it to an autozone and have your voltage checked battery should be putting out near 13 volts.
