Hello, I have a

The only way to fix that problem is to replace the actual air bags in the suspension. There is also a repair kit that you will need with them that will have the neccessary hardware and mounting parts. Usually it is best to replace them in pairs, both fronts or both rears. I would recomend having it done at a dealer or a independant shop that specializes in German cars, as there will be computer reprogramming that will need to be done and that requires special codes. If the car is not programmed correctly after install, your suspension height will not set correctly. I think you should be looking at $400 roughly for a pair, and about the same in labor.

Power window wont go up

You will find that the window rubbers are dry, The solution to this will be get a candle make sure the candle edge goes inside the rubber, then just pull it around the rubber, all this does is help the glass to slide in the rubbers, You can even use white grease which comes in a spray can or WD40, only trouble with the WD40 is it will smear on the glass, but will work fine. This will solve your problem.

Why did my Audi a6 six speed lose power while driving and continuous battery drain?

Sounds like your alternator might be bad or your engine belt is loose (or broken). If you can get the car started, check voltage at the battery. If you have 12+ volts for at least 20 minutes, your alternator is ok. If you have less, it's bad.

2003 Audi A6 allroad, seems to be misfiring, idles

Yes the coil pack is a common problem But you should take the car to a place like Auto Zone where they will read the fault codes to see why the check engine light came on. Then you'll have a better idea of what the problem is. It will tell you which cyl. is causing the missing.

My cigarette lighter outlets no longer work with

For 2003 Audi Allroad the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. Fuse no.# 33 (15A) = Cigarette lighter (for front & rear sockets).

I have an 2003 Audi

Couple of quick things to check, when the air system is trying to raise the car you should hear the pump running in the boot of the car ( lhs rear) . The pumps are known to fail but not too regularly. The more common issue is that the rubber bladders in the air springs develop hairline cracks which leak, more prevalent on the front than rear. Get a spray of soapy water and spray all round the bladder, start the car and select a higher ride height. You should be able to see bubbles....or indeed if its as bad as you identify you will be able to hear a hiss ( assuming the pump is running of course) New air springs are available and not too difficult to fit.....dont buy the hugely expensive stuff from Audi try Arnott Industries in the US, they have an excellent remanufactured replacement which is far superior. Hope this helps Iain
