The Navigation system DVD has failed. You can order the load/play mechanism for it from China. (http://alibaba.com) This is where I found the replacement for my system. This is not a hard repair to make. Cost is between $60 and &120 for the part. Alpine and the dealer will want your first born to replace it.

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

head lights are held in with torqx screws or clips inside the engine compartment

Check your battery connections and make sure the belt for the alternator is not loose or seriously worn out.
You may have a defective dash panel or connection behind the panel. But if the lights only flicker with the engine running I would be concerned there may be a problem with the alternator.
But the check the battery condition first, weak batteries can cause all kinds of strange issues.

it only takes 3 things to get heat.
1: engine at 180F or more holdind, IS IT?
2: that coolant flowing through the heater core, (water valve open)
3: fan blowing air through said core. IS IT?

first see if your car has a water valve. 1/2 the cars have it others only
have an air damper.
so look for water valve, at the hose fire wall.
are both hoses hot , at near 180f? if not its blocked.
if both are hot, then the dampers is stuck closed.

CEL lamp glowing running?
did you scan the PCM to see the errors. any scan tool works in USA.
Variable Torque Management (VTM-4) system.

scan it, and report, any shop, any autostores can scan it.
most stores, loan the tool for FREE> plug it in, and scan it.
or get it fixed. (as the opr. guide says......)

The fault would have been detected by the ECM and a warning light would have appeared on the dash. To be sure have the error codes read.
A simple test can also be done by you: find a deserted straight stretch of road with nothing around it (no trees or ditches), accelerate to a reasonable speed (50 KMP) and floor the brakes - if the ABS works fully you should stop in a straight line without any wheel lock.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a problem with the heat on this car , I have checked on pricing , I would recommend to check small shops like mom and pops shops and see if they could replace it cheaper , but must likely it's the heater core sorry to spread the bad news , but things just happen . I have attached a price but I would negotiate and check around , you will find someone who doesn't have as much overhead as others , could very reasonable . Good luck to you and I hope this help .

The battery is low on charge. Either the battery is failing or your alternator is not putting out enough charge or the starter motor is drawing too much electricity. If you have a volt ohm meter you can check the all of these conditions. Simply by connecting the VOM to the battery. Your battery should have a static charge of about 12.5 volts. When you try to start the engine the voltage on the meter should not drop below 10 volts..If you have the engine running the voltage should come up to about 14.4 volts within 2 minutes. If it doesn't come above 14 volts there is a problem with your alternator.
