The speedo just started acting erratic, I live a cold climate. It has acted funny til the car warmed up.but is ok after that.Anyone with similar problems with a fix would be appreciated.

on an 05 the speedo gets its signal from a sensor in the back of the transmission , this same sensor info is used to decide what gear to put trans in , id get under and look real good at it to see if its got any evidence of damage (scrapes or snags) to it , or even shotguning it an replacing it wouldn't be a bad idea

I didn't have heat before I replaced thermostats so I was wondering if a vacuum line fell of that controls a door in the heater itself?

I looked at your hvac, the actuators are electric. Have you checked applicable fuses? If you think temp door actuator has a problem have to check wiring and that the door isn't stuck. Can you check for hvac trouble codes, see if anything shows up? Some of the national brand auto stores will check codes for free, if there are any? With the engine warmed up, the heater hoses do get hot, correct? The engine also reaches normal operating temp?

When ideling it blows cold air. I have replaced thermostat twice and refilled coolant. any idea what is wrong?

Most likely air in the system. If the system is not properly bled, air will be trapped in the lowest point of the coolant system and can get trapped in the heater core. You need to run the engine with the radiator cap off till all the air is pushed out of the cooling system.

Are you knowledgeable on automotive electronics ? Do you know what class 2 serial data communication network is ? The data link connector (DLC) allows a scan tool to communicate with the class 2 serial data line. The serial data line is the means by which the microprocessor-controlled modules in the vehicle communicate with each other. Once the scan tool is connected to the class 2 serial data line through the DLC, the scan tool can be used to monitor each module for diagnostic purposes and to check for diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Class 2 serial data is transmitted on a single wire at an average of 10.4 kbps. This value is an average, class 2 uses a variable pulse width modulation to carry data and depending on the message it may operate faster or slower. The bus will float at a nominal 7.0 volts during normal operation. Each module can pull this lower during the transmission. The bus is not at battery positive voltage or ground potential during normal operation. When the ignition switch is in RUN, each module communicating on the class 2 serial data line sends a state of health (SOH) message every 2 seconds to ensure that the module is operating properly. When a module stops communicating on the class 2 serial data line, for example if the module loses power or ground, the SOH message it normally sends on the data line every 2 seconds disappears. Other modules on the class 2 serial data line, which expect to receive that SOH message, detect its absence; those modules in turn set an internal DTC associated with the loss of SOH of the non-communicating module. The DTC is unique to the module which is not communicating, for example, when the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) SOH message disappears, several modules set DTC U1088. Note that a loss of serial data DTC does not normally represent a failure of the module that set it. Any module with a problem on the data bus can bring down the whole system , which means could have same problem your having .The place to start is to hook up a factory scan tool an see if it will communicate with all the modules on the vehicle . A total list of the control modules on the class 2 serial data circuit can include the following: ?€¢ Dash Integration Module (DIM)

?€¢ Digital Radio Receiver (DRR) w/U2S

?€¢ Driver Door Module (DDM)

?€¢ Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)

?€¢ Head Up Display (HUD) w/UV6

?€¢ HVAC Control Module w/C67

?€¢ Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM)

?€¢ Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)

?€¢ Instrument Panel Integration Module (IPM) w/CJ2

?€¢ Memory Seat Module (MSM) w/A45

?€¢ Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

?€¢ Radio

?€¢ Rear Integration Module (RIM)

?€¢ Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR)

?€¢ Remote Playback Device - CD Changer w/U1S

?€¢ Theft Deterrent Control Module

?€¢ Vehicle Communication Interface Module (VCIM)

Did you check all fuse's an relays ? Power to many of this vehicle?€™s circuits are controlled by the module that is designated the Power Mode Master (PMM). This vehicle?€™s PMM is the Dash Integration Module (DIM). The PMM controls which power mode (Run, Accessory, Crank, Retained Accessory Power, or Off) is active. In this vehicle the Rear Integration Module (RIM) assist the DIM in controlling the RAP power mode. This is a very complex system ,an a factory scan tool is a necessity . Moving the ignition switch to the START position sends a 12 volt signal to the powertrain control module (PCM) Ignition Crank Sense. The PCM verifies that the transmission is in the PARK or NEUTRAL position. The PCM then grounds the control circuit of the START relay. When the START relay is energized it allows battery positive voltage to the starter solenoid S terminal. This is provided there are no anti-theft system problems , Do you have a SECURITY light lit on the dash ? Or a padlock an car symbol lit ? Normal vehicle class 2 communications and module operations will not begin until the system power mode has been identified. Discrete wires from the ignition switch contacts are monitored by the power mode master (PMM) module in order to determine the correct power mode. The PMM communicates the system power mode to all class 2 modules on the class 2 serial data line. Refer to 9259 to identify which module is the PMM and the applicable power mode look up table. Any

What would cause the inside of the trunk to stay

The two main causes are: 1) the rubber seal on the body where the trunk lid closes. check for tears or where it is not seated properly
2) The rear window is leaking around the seal
Of course if you have an antenna or the like which has been mounted on the rear fenders that seal could be the problem.

What is causing my trunk to leak on 2005 buick lesabre

It is going to be a seal problem. It has either separated, got punctured some place or came unglued. I would spray a hose over it on a dry day and try to identify exactly where it is leaking. The other thing to look for would be slight bend or distortion keeping the trunk from closing all the way leaving a gap for rain to get in.

Wipers do not work

Hi.Check if there is power to the wiper module when you turn on the wipers. If there is no power to the wiper module check multifunction switch, wiring and fuse. If there is power getting to the wiper module but the wiper motor is not energized, replace the wiper module. If the wiper module is energizing the motor but the motor does not start, replace the wiper motor. The wiper module is located in front of the wiper motor, under the hood. The module is held by screws, connected to the motor, and protected by a cover.Regards.Ginko
