2006 pontiac vibe getting close to 100K and feel
It is personal taste. Some places recommend that timing CHAINS be replaced every 90K-100K, but others drive until there is some change in their engine performance that would indicate the timing chain and then change it. Since you have the timing chain and not the timing belt it is up to you.
Generally, I will replace timing chains IF I have to pull my engine out of the car for any reason, but won't change it at set intervals.
Where is the reset button,
there isn't one it resets on its own. If its not reseting you have a bad pressure sensor on one of the wheels.
How to unlock a back
It sounds like you have a frozen lock.
Your first step should be, to spray the interior of the lock with WD40. Afterwards, insert your key and try to turn it. Not too hard. You do not want to snap your key off in your hatch. This would be very bad and would damage your lock beyond repair.
If you do happen to break your key off inside of the lock, apply super glue to the fob portion of the key, where the point of breaking occured. Press it evenly and deliberately against the portion of the key that's stuck inside of the lock. Wait until it dries and attempt to pull it out. You will find your key and the broken fragment exit the lock.
If the lubrication doesn't work, you will need to replace your locking mechanism which can be accessed through the panel on the back of the hatch.
Near the window, you will see plastic tabs which need to be popped off. Inside of those tabs are phillips head screws. Unscrew each of those and any other screws on the panel.
Carefully remove the panel and set it aside. You will find behind the plate of metal and insulation will be your locking mechanism's reverse side, and the hatch latch mechanism.
Replacing the lock; you will need to remove the U-Pin that is between the locking mechanisms tumbler assembly. Also disconnect the locking mechanism from the metal arm. Should slide or snap off.
Now you will be able to remove the lock from the outside of the car.
Get a factory replacement from your local dealership or parts store. You will have to use another key.
Just reverse these directions and plug everything back up!
Thanks!
Hope this helped!
