hey ashley. the "A" symbol is just a mileage counter. i have an altima aswell and we can cycle thru A, B, C for mileage counters, km til empty for gas, the time, temperature outside, and total driving time. cycle tbru by hitting the mode button on the left of the steering wheel buttons, right beside the seek for songs buttons

On the top of the engine in the fuel raild that goes over the injectors.

Have you checked the Freon levels in the air unit? You may just need to add Freon.

Most likely a fuse and or a curcit braker problim.get owners manual find witch fuse runs both.

Please, please, please DO NOT post an answer if you do not know the answer. Nissan does not supply clear descriptions for its fuses!!! The use descriptions that are cryptic and confusing. That is why someone is asking - which fuse does what? For example, I have spent 2 hours trying to find out which fuse is for the power windows and I hate it when some (not)know-it-all says to look for the fuse labeled windows - there is no fuse labeled windows or horn or anything else that would be helpful. If you are not familiar with Nissan fuse boxes - just don't answer!

sorry i have to say this, but have you checked the bulb? the cover pulls off pretty easily.next, check the fuse. the dome light fuse will run with another electrical component. be sure to check them all!and if you can manually turn on the light. check the door switch located in the door jamb close to the latch.

This is not a very reliable answer but my right headlight went out as we'll and before I bought a bulb I talked to different guys at work, they suggested giving the headlight a good solid tap on the outside and sure enough it came back on. Hopefully this might work for others as well!

Have you checked your radiator fluid level

There's some air in the system somewhere. Park it uphill, cold, open the cap and run it and fill it at the same time.Mine makes a bit of this noise sometimes. It runs fine and I don't worry much about it.-------------------------------------------------------Launch X-431 DIAGUN III

I'm not shore about the 2006 but have you checked your tail lights as Ive found that if there's a glob out on some cars then your dash lights dont work. it maybe a fuse or is the dimmer switch turned down. try these 3 things I hope this helps

That would be listed in the owners manual. If you don't have one go here and download it.

There is a fuse for the high beam and a separate fuse for the low beam. Nissan came out with what I call kind of a hidden fuse panel which is located on the right (passenger) side of the vehicle. Nissan calls it an IPDM (intelligent power distribution module). It is located under the coolant resivour (can't spell). In any case below are some pictures and instructions on how to get to and remove it. Also is a picture of the fuse layout that is in there. The fuse for the high beam is the one marked with a red arrow and the fuse for the low is marked with a yellow arrow. If both high and low beams are out you may be looking at a wiring issue. Hope this helps.....

if in doubt replace both and check ground wires also..a relay may be wired backwards..or installed backwards..good luck..

Not that I am aware of.Sounds like a problem with the computer or the circuit to the OBD plug.

It just pulls of with a great amount of upward force.

replacing transmission?????nonsence!!! i can tell this is an automatic trans setup, not standard. lets start here. put car in PARK and turn key on so the dash comes on. do not start car. step on the brake pedal several times slowly and listen for audible sound coming from the shifter area. you should hear clicking sound everytime yo uhit the brake. that is the shift lock solenoid releasing the mechanism indside of the shifter assembly so you can get the car out of park and into gear. you may have an issue with the shifter assembly it self. if no clicking sound is heard, it will need to be diagnosed fruther. the solenoid can not be purhcsed separatelly. shifter assembly only. start with the listening procedure and let me know.

If the fuse box was off I would check the fuses first and probably not go back to that shop it things were screwed with.
