A sparkplug can fowl out only if there is a problem in that cylinder alone, not with the parts from another cylinders.
In your case you have a worn out oil seal - most likely in the piston but it can also be one on the valve stems. You will need to measure the compression in that cylinder - if it's low it's the ring on the piston. The head will have to come off to replace it.

Hi and good day

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

Even though you have spark, I suspect that it's too weak to burn fuel that's why it floods. I strongly suggest that you replace the distributor coil. To access the distributor coil, you will need to remove the distributor cap and rotor.

Once you remove them, you can gain access to the distributor coil. Take note, it's gonna be messy for oil on the coil can be expected. Once you replaced the distributor coil you'll surely have good current supply to the plugs. This will surely eliminate the fuel flooding issue.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Electronic maybe but it could be something simpler. There is selector switch on the side of the transmission. Check that this clean and that it is correctly adjusted. A slight readjustment is maybe all that is needed for the switch to register the 'reverse' selection from the lever.

Hi i have 98

Hi, all vehicle brake lights use a switch to determine if the lights are on or off. This switch, known as a stoplight switch, consists of a plunger-style button that breaks and completes a circuit. When the brake pedal is pressed, the plunger comes outward, completes the circuit and the lights turn on. There are several faults that can make your brake lights stay on. The circuit may go bad and remain completed, or the rubber stopper on the brake pedal stalk could fall off or come apart. If nothing is keeping the plunger pressed in, the circuit remains open.

You have to check the circuit and the rubber stopper on the brake pedal stalk to ascertain the cause of the problem....

Due to the design of the fuel the filter can't be installed backwards, this is true of all MB fuel filters. Ok that said. a fuel filter will never cause white smoke, that has to be from oil or coolant entering the engines combustion chambers, if it is coolant it will have a kind of nauseating sweet smell, if it doesn't have the smell I just described then it is oil, also coolant is 90% steam, oil is truly smoke, so one will dissipate quickly the other hangs around.

Hi

Check for any leak. The easiest way to locate the leakage is after fueling. Fuel it as full as possible and look for the leak. There is a vent tube that goes up to the filler neck, so try to be sure all the gas goes into the filler tube and check the vent after fueling. All you need to see is one drop to locate the bad line. Also probability of leaky injector, quite possibly at the seal. A leaky injector will drop raw fuel into the cylinder. If this raw fuel is not burned properly and does not go through the exhaust system, it ends-up in the oil pan. Raw gasoline will wash off all oil from the cylinder walls and dilute your engine oil.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Check for a vac leak. Check all small vac lines, Benz is noted for plastic lines that crack. Look closely around air filter and work your way out from there. Also run a bottle of STP gas treatment through it. This time of year with big temperature swings, condensation (water) forms in fuel tank and that wreaks havoc with Benz induction.

The top and roll bar are not working because of the consumer warning displayed in the instrument cluster. It will start working again once the battery is charged up again. Either let the car run for awhile til the light goes off or hook up a battery charger to it. Everything should be functional again once the battery is charged.
